The Thought Leader
A 20-year veteran futures trader who turned ruthless discipline and radical simplicity into a public trading philosophy. Adam trades ES intraday and short swing ETFs, posting transparent trade notes 'for my notes only' that 231k people somehow read religiously. His message: process > prediction.
Says he "posts for notes only" but has 231k followers, so either your notes are really educational, or you accidentally started a very well-organized cult of stop-loss worshippers. Also: 'Trade less' is your mantra, except apparently for tweeting.
After nearly 20 years of refinement he simplified his approach to one market and one setup, built a reproducible edge through disciplined stops, and grew a 231k-strong audience by being transparent and consistent.
To demystify professional trading by teaching that consistent execution, strict risk control, and simplicity beat prediction, helping traders trade less, trade better, and protect capital.
Believes price and process matter more than headlines or hot takes; that mastery comes from specialization, honoring stops without exception, and shrinking complexity until only what works remains. Values transparency, repeatable rules, and accountability.
Disciplined execution, crystal-clear rules, and ruthless loss management, plus an authentic, transparent voice that built a large, loyal following. Excellent at turning lived experience into short, actionable lessons.
Can come across as rigid or preachy to traders who prefer nuance; posts obsessively (notes > engagement), which sometimes dilutes signal. Narrow specialization may limit appeal to those wanting broader market playbooks.
Turn that sea of notes into focused learning hooks: pin a weekly trade-breakdown thread (setup, entry, management, stop), post short annotated chart clips and 60, 90s videos of live decision points, host monthly X Spaces Q&As, and publish a concise weekly recap thread showing P&L and lessons. Use polls to test content, collab with complementary traders for mutual reach, and offer an exclusive subscriber series (deep-dive trades, journal access) to monetize while keeping public tweets educational. Prioritize fewer, higher-impact posts over volume to match your 'less = more' brand.
Fun fact: He claims to post "for my notes only," yet with 68,545 tweets and 231,209 followers he's accidentally authored a free, crowdsourced trading curriculum. Also: after decades he now focuses on 1 market, mostly 1 setup, 1 indicator.
Have a great weekend! For a year, every big #ES_F rally came off one trendline from March 2020. We just tested for the 5th time at 3875
Plan next week: It unlikely holds again. Bulls need to recapture 3935 fast which targets 4020 then 4080. 3875 fails we sell. Detail below $SPX
Big Picture #ES_F: On Oct 9, we broke out a 2 week bull flag. Monday, we back-tested at 5725 & went parabolic. The target is now 6135: 1 year channel resistance
Next Week: Cool-off likely. 5983, 5950=supports. They hold, we run to 6125 magnet. 5950 fails, we sell to 5880 minimum
On Jan 13, #ES_F hit support at 5810 of a two month "megaphone" & I was looking higher. We ran +330 since. This week decides if we make ATHs to 6300 megaphone resistance
Plan: 6050, 6020=supports. Bulls must hold 20 lowest to see 6127, 6184, 6300. 6020 fails, short 5957, 5907
Goldmine for Failed Breakdown traders & 3 since 3am. Overnight #ES_F put in a Failed Breakdown of 6260 Monday low, given in newsletter. Targets given 8am were 6291, 6301. We sold at 6301
We then retook O/N low as posted, ran +30. Leave runner. 6291, 6301 bonus. Same downsides
Not possible for action to get more precise in #ES_F. Failed Breakdown 6050 triggered long as posted here/in newsletter. 3 targets given for today 8am: 6067, 6076, 6081. We hit 6081 *Exact* & sold. Work done, hold runner for bonus
6093, 6099=bonus. 67 (held), 50 remain supports
Despite headlines in #ES_F, lvls remain pinpoint precise. I posted last night 5925 was support, with 5975 reclaim needed to trigger back to 6k target. 5927 was the overnight low, we reclaimed 5975, hit 6k target. Done
Plan today: 6007, 6015, 6029 above 6k. 5975 must hold or dip
Standard weekly gap down in #ES_F, and as usual it triggered a quick Failed Breakdown. Per Friday's 4pm newsletter, flushes and recoveries of Friday's 6524 daily low trigger up. We flushed it, recovered, popped 12 points. *Protect gains level to level*
6542, 6564, 6591 above
Volatility finally picking up a little in #ES_F. 6050 was support with three targets for today: 6067, 6067, then 6081 final. We hit 6081 final, and sold back to 6050. I posted 6050 fail would see 6036, just hit 36.
Same old drill: 45-50 must reclaim to rally. 6029, 6016 below

Arianna wants you well, but also very, very awake to hear about it.","win":"Built two major cultural engines: co-founding The Huffington Post (reshaping online news) and founding Thrive Global (reframing workplace wellbeing), turning ideas into institutions with global reach.","recommendation":"Be strategic with your output: prioritize high-value threads that distill research + actionable takeaways, pin a conversion tweet linking to Thrive resources, use short videos/Spaces for emotional resonance, amplify user success stories, engage select replies to model conversation (not broadcast), and collaborate with younger creators to expand reach while keeping your signature thoughtfulness."},"created":1774572752522,"type":"the thought leader","id":"ariannahuff"},{"user":{"id":"14100237","name":"Alfred Lin","description":"Partner @sequoia. They believe in learning through failure, in democratizing understanding (turning jargon into plain speech), and in the power of consistency over flash.","facts":"Fun fact: VV has 365,506 followers, follows only 2 accounts, and has tweeted 2,687 times. Their micro-manifesto \"Keep going.\" earned over 1.1 million views and thousands of interactions, while other punchy lines like \"Failure is the frame, not the picture\" racked up tens of thousands of likes.","strength":"Exceptional brevity and punch — messages that are easily remembered and widely shared. High engagement on concise aphorisms, ability to explain dense topics simply, and a strong, coherent voice that reads like an intellectual compass.","weakness":"The minimalist style can feel aloof: following only two people and favoring short quips risks seeming distant or unapproachable. Big ideas compressed into one line can invite misinterpretation or spark polarizing debate (e.g., NFTs), and there’s limited two-way community-building.","recommendation":"Turn top aphorisms into short threads that expand the idea (1–3 tweets each) to deepen engagement; host an occasional Space or AMA to humanize the brand; pin an explainer thread (e.g., NFTs, resilience playbook); reply thoughtfully to high-value replies to cultivate superfans; experiment with short videos or carousels to boost impressions and reach.","roast":"VV follows two people — one is probably Newton, the other their Wi‑Fi router.
