opus 5.5 is f*cking cracked at motion design this entire video is code, 0 after effects im open sourcing the prompt template for these motion designs steal it to recreate these ↓ <inputs> Ask me for: 8 to 12 UI states I want the shape to become (e.g. button, loader, player, slider, toggle, tabs, chart, command palette, toast), pure black and white or one accent color, and a royalty-free song around 120 BPM (e.g. Mixkit, free for commercial use). </inputs> <direction> Dribbble-level UI motion. One shape, never cut: every state is the same element morphing its size, radius and color while its content swaps with a short blur. A cursor drives every change with real clicks and drags. Light warm-gray canvas, black and white components, one clean UI font (Geist). Springs everywhere, a tiny overshoot at most. The camera zooms so each state fills the frame. The last frame is the first frame, so it loops. Banned: bouncy easing, particle bursts, glows, gradients on UI chrome, mismatched icon strokes, dead time, anything that looks like a template. </direction> <structure> 120 BPM, 7 bars, something happens on every beat. Button → loader → check → dynamic island → music player with a play/pause morph → scrub the progress bar → it becomes a volume slider that stretches when dragged past max → a toggle flips on the beat → the knob becomes a liquid tab indicator → the tabs open into a chart that draws itself, with a tooltip on hover → it collapses into ⌘K → type to filter → enter → toast → back to the button. </structure> <build> 1. One HTML file, square 1440x1440. Every style is computed from time inside seek(t): no CSS transitions, no timers, no state carried between frames. 2. Springs are closed-form step responses. A value that changes target many times is the sum of one spring per change, so it stays a pure function of time. 3. The tab indicator's two edges ride different springs, so the leading edge stretches ahead of the trailing one. Same trick for the toggle knob. 4. Drags are direct manipulation: while the cursor is held, the value is computed from its position. On release it springs back from wherever it was. 5. Analyze the song with numpy for the beat grid and start on a downbeat. Place every UI sound by its measured peak. 6. Render with Playwright: 4 subframes per frame, blended with ffmpeg tmix for motion blur at 60fps. 7. Render one frame per beat before the full render. Fix anything off the grid, cramped or hard to read. </build> <gotchas> Never put will-change on anything the camera scales or the text renders blurry. Text that swaps inside a morphing container needs its own enter and exit timing or it overlaps. Make the last frame identical to the first, cursor position and speed included, or the loop stutters. </gotchas> <start> Ask me for the inputs, then show me the state list on the beat grid before you write any code. </start>

AGENT WARS We asked 5 top AI models to design, engineer and 3D print a bridge to with the goal of holding the most possible weight. 🇺🇸 Anthropic: Claude Opus 5.5 (High) 🇨🇳 Kimi: Kimi K3 (High) 🇺🇸 Meta: Muse Spark 1.3 (High) 🇺🇸 OpenAI: GPT 6 Astra (High) 🇺🇸 SpaceXAI: Grok 4.7 (High) Each bridge had specific parameters. It had to span 2 feet, use a maximum 500 grams of filament, and it had to be under 18 hours of printing time. We specified what type of weight and where we would place it on the bridge. The Score: • Claude Opus 5.5 held an estimated 130 lbs! It took 9 hours and 11 minutes to print 17 parts and used 441 grams of filament. • Meta Muse Spark 1.3 held 26.5 lbs. It took 13 hours and 12 minutes to print 49 parts and used 478 grams of filament. • OpenAI GPT-6 Astra held an estimated 17.5 lbs. It took 15 hours and 44 minutes to print 29 parts and used 442 grams of filament. • SpaceXAI Grok 4.7 did not finish. On assembly it could not stand up by itself. It took 12 hours and 22 minutes to print 29 parts and used 460 grams of filament. • Kimi K3 did not finish. It wasn’t engineered correctly so the bridge could not even be assembled. It took 11 hours and 19 minutes to print 35 parts and used 446 grams of filament. That means our champion for this episode is Claude Opus 5.5. Not only did it hold the most weight (by FAR) it also took the least time to print, used the least amount of parts and used the least amount of filament. This was episode 02 of Agent Wars, stay tuned for episode 03.

Ever wonder what $1874.40 of Opus 5.5 tokens looks like? Wonder no more. I highly recommend watching the whole video on 1080p on a large screen with sound on. Pay attention to all the little details. - Birds flying and diving into the ocean. - Cloth, signs and lights swaying in the wind. - Crabs scuttling along the shore and burrowing when you get close. - Fish swimming alongside the whale. - Lights illuminating the dock at night Then zoom out and see the entire island. Never dipping below 60 FPS at 1440p resolution. Yes, there's a few bugs and visual artifacts, some textures need improving, the shorelines waves sometimes look funny, but these are so trivial to fix at this point. FYI I'm on the $200 subscription plan. This used 59% of my weekly usage and took 2h 7h of API time using multiple subagents, about 8h in real-time. There was extremely little technical direction here. 99% of my prompts were "Add X and Y" or "This looks weird, make it better". It's a great time for hobbyists, bad time for professionals. This experiment has further cemented my view that technical creatives are about to experience a massive disruption.

I used Opus 5.5 to formally verify the Claude Agent SDK using Lean. A couple short prompts = 16 PRs fixing various bugs and race conditions. Video attached. TLA+ also works well. I sometimes combine Lean and TLA+ to look for issues around data flow, concurrency, and state mgmt. I don't know either language well, but Claude is excellent at both. This approach is super useful for formally modeling your code and finding bugs that a human probably wouldn't have spotted. Is formal verification the future of coding (or at least, bug finding)?

Yesterday, my boys and I vibe coded a game together. They tell me what they want in their game and I prompt it into Opus 5.5 to build it. And of course they picked "Zelda Breath of the Wild" inspired game, where they can explore an open world, do dungeon puzzles, fight mini bosses and a final boss. The twist is that the hero holds a giant paintbrush as a weapon, each color had a different attack and effect (red = fire, blue = ice, yellow = bounce, green = vines). And oh they also wanted to fly on the paintbrush. We spent our whole saturday playing and iterating on the game. It was great fun. I told them, the future is all about Imagination, whatever they can imagine, it will be manifested in a digital experience. At the end of the day, the game had: - 2 biomes (1 island and a bunch of floating islands) - Paintbrush-based combat (4 colors representing different effects and mechanics) - 3 dungeons with puzzles - An undeground cave - Unlockable flying paintbrush when you activate 4 crystals around the island - 30+ enemies and elites - 1 giant boss As you can see in the gameplaye video below, its not the most polished video game but it's so satisfying to see my boys getting bewildered when whatever they asked for, the game is built before their eyes. Of all the games I have vibe coded so far, this was the most satisfying because my boys were actively co-creating it and playing it. This is definitely not the last game we're making together, they have already started brainstorming their next game, hint: "Peak with grappling hooks and TNTs." You can play the game here, works only on desktop:

Opus 5.5 ultracode is unreal. I just built the game I wanted most as a kid on PS2 — Dynasty Warriors — with Opus 5.5 ultracode. Zhao Yun vs 300 soldiers: combos, dodges, Musou. Halfway through I wanted it to go faster. Then I opened the preview link and just… stopped. Let it cook. Play it : Repo: stack:three.js

I'm truly impressed with Opus 5.5. I asked it to visualise Atlantis in ThreeJS for me, and it created a tour around Poseidia, the last surviving island of Atlantis. Sound on 🔊 for full trailer experience. Even this trailer is made by Opus 5.5 as well. I think we’re on the verge of a new type of media: Generative Experiences. The idea is that you can describe a world you have in mind and step into it is pretty incredible. You could explore its cities, meet its inhabitants, discover its stories, and shape what happens next through your own choices. This took Opus 5.5 about two hours to make. But if we extrapolate a year into the future, I can imagine being able to conjure up these kinds of fantastical, immersive experiences within seconds. The possibilities go well beyond gaming. Writers could walk through the worlds they’re building. Children could explore an ancient civilisation and ask questions along the way. Learning could become an experience you actively participate in, with the world responding to what you’re curious about. This is incredibly exciting and I am here for it. You can tour around Poseidia here:

Forget threejs demos, Opus 5.5 is *incredible* at building apps. This is Letters Abroad, a language-learning app I'm working on. You exchange letters with an AI pen pal, and learn a language through context (plus some brain science magic). (also built by Opus, of course) I've been tinkering with this the last week. I built a prototype with Astra, but wasn't happy with the design. Tried Fable, still wasn't good enough. Then Opus 5.5 dropped. In a few hours, I've made more progress on the visuals than in a week of burning tokens. This model is insane. It reads my mind and nails it every time. All the gorgeous 3D models and fluid transitions are thanks to Opus. Crazy idea, prompt, repeat. No more quota anxiety, just non-stop flow state. I'll be writing about my prompts/skills/learnings from building this. Lots to share; this generation of models is absolutely game-changing for design!

Continuing the experiment: the most complex fully procedural world I can get out of three.js. Zero downloaded assets, sound included. This time the lead is Opus 5.5. One prompt + a reference image → a plan. Then I kicked off 3 plan steps by hand. Never asked it to fix anything. What you see is the first pass, zero correction rounds. 3h36m active · 445 requests · +5,010 lines · ~$60 at API pricing Reference in the replies 👇 #threejs #tsl

Complex Procedural 3D World Generation

Sharing stats like total time and cost while showing a first pass procedural scene proves heavy coding ability.

Hook: “I gave <model> one prompt and image to build a complex <type> world in <time>.”

Redo it for the next model
  1. Pass a reference image to generate a full procedural scene architecture plan.
  2. Execute the multi step generation process for Three.js terrain and synth audio.
  3. Record the first pass walk through video without making any manual code edits.
Promptwritten for you
build the most complex fully procedural 3D world you can in three.js, all in one HTML file. zero downloaded assets, every model, texture and sound made in code. let me free roam and walk anywhere in first person. go all out.

I asked Opus 5.5 to explain gravitational lensing by building an interactive black hole lab One prompt for the first version, then a dynamic workflow to polish it for three rounds while I slept. This is what I woke up to: 5h 28m end to end, $90 at API prices Drag the black hole and the sky behind it bends into arcs, closing into a full ring when everything lines up Each round ran 3 agents. Two reviewers each picked 9 to 10 issues and ranked them P0, P1, P2. The third one fixed them. Round 1: 3D materials and lighting + UI and type Round 2: camera motion and interaction + science-communication design Round 3: a design director deciding whether it ships + visual QA and performance Every P0 got fixed, the rest only if worth it. When the two reviewers disagreed, it picked one and wrote down why. It backed up before each round, checked screenshots after, and rolled back anything it couldn't fix.

Interactive Physics Lab Visualizer

Using automated reviewer agents overnight to refine an educational science app creates deep visual polish.

Hook: “I asked <model> to explain <topic> by building an interactive lab while I slept.”

Redo it for the next model
  1. Prompt the model to create an interactive physics simulation explaining a core topic.
  2. Set up automated reviewer agents to catch UI bugs and visual issues in rounds.
  3. Record the resulting simulation showing interactive sliders and bending light effects.
Promptwritten for you
build an interactive black hole lab that explains gravitational lensing, all in one html file with three.js. when i drag the black hole, the sky behind it should bend into arcs and close into a full ring when everything lines up. add short labels that teach the science. make it look stunning.

Synchronized Launch Video Motion Graphic Rebuild

Showing a side by side video comparison with a real tech launch ad proved the code could match high end visual agencies. It gave viewers a clear practical win they could test on their own marketing.

Hook: “I used <model> to rebuild a famous tech launch video in <time> minutes.”

Redo it for the next model
  1. Pick a popular product launch video with clean cuts.
  2. Prompt the model to remake the animation sequence in code.
  3. Render the output and play it side by side with the original.
Promptfrom the post
TASK: frame-locked 1:1 remake of REF=[path/to/reference.mp4]. Swap ONLY: brand name→[NAME], logo→[path/to/logo.png|svg], palette→[hex list or "derive from logo"]. All else identical: layout, sizes, positions, timing, easing, camera, cuts, blur, cursor path, typing cadence, audio beat grid.
ACCEPTANCE: REF and remake stacked + frame-locked → same pose every frame. Cuts 0 frames off. Position/size error ≤1% of frame.
PHASE 0, ANALYSIS (no building yet): ffprobe fps/res/duration, extract ALL frames to ref/full/, detect cuts, write SPEC.md. MEASURE with numpy on ref frames, never eyeball.

I had 26 Opus 5.5 agents build a game overnight. It's a heist through five nested worlds, with go-karts on a giant's kitchen table, bots hunting you, and friends stealing your loot. Most vibe-coded games are demos. This one is different.. it's multiplayer and you can play it right now.

Multiplayer Game Built Overnight by Agents

It shows autonomous agents working together overnight to build a complete game. Sharing a playable link proves it is real and not just a visual trick.

Hook: “I set <number> AI agents to build a game overnight and now it is playable”

Redo it for the next model
  1. Set up an agent loop to build game code over several hours.
  2. Test the output game with multiple players on a server.
  3. Record a video tour of the gameplay and share a live link.
Promptwritten for you

How to use these on launch day

  1. Pick 2 or 3 templates before launch day.
  2. Have the prompt ready and the model tab open.
  3. Run it in the first hour and post the result as a video or image.
  4. Put the cost and the time it took in the first two lines.
  5. Put any link in your first reply, never in the post.
