So I’m waiting in line at the grocery store when I see two old ladies (easily over 80) get out of their line and come stand in mine behind me. I smile and ask if they would like to go ahead of me to which one of them quickly replies, “No thank you. We just want to stand by the muscle man for a few minutes”. I immediately started laughing and blushing a little too. I finished paying for my groceries and as I go to walk out I look back with the biggest smile on my face and thank them for making my day to which they replied “No, thank you for making ours” as the other little old lady blows me a kiss and says “We just love your muscles”… So yea, this just might be the best day of my life. 😂😂😂

Had a scare this week with what was supposed to be a routine 30-45 min heart surgery ended up being 6 hours on the table. In the end I made it, I’m home, and I’m 100% for the first time in years. My heart is the the best it’s ever been. I’m SO thankful for all incredible doctors, nurses, and staff that took care of me at Hoag Hospital.

You need to MOM better! 👊🏼
