This is not my typical post and not what I usually want to share here, but I just had to… Because yesterday one of my posts went viral. Tons of positive comments, but also a shocking amount of hate. All because of stereotypes. Apparently, if a woman takes care of herself or looks good, she “can’t be” a developer or build a startup. Some comments were honestly disgusting. I even thought about showing a few of them But I won’t give those people that much credit. So yeah - I decided to show my face again even though it might not be easy after yesterday. If that doesn’t fit into your stereotypes, feel free to just not watch my content at all. I didn’t show my face for engagement or marketing. I did it because this is me and I’m proud of what I’m building. There are thousands of other people - and super good-looking guys - showing their faces too. Do you call them frauds? Do you accuse them of doing it just for marketing? So why the double standard? I’m not writing this to defend myself. I know what I’m doing and don’t need validation for it. When I was 19, I moved abroad alone to study informatics - in a language that wasn’t even my native one. I was surrounded by men in tech, and it wasn’t always easy to stay motivated, but I got amazing male colleagues with which we supported each other. I graduated at TU Vienna, did my master’s with distinction, joined a startup program, together with my Co-Founder we got 200K+ in public grants and support, wrote hundreds of thousands of lines of code, and didn’t give up when it got hard. So no, I don’t need validation. I’m writing this to encourage other people. Especially other women, who receive hate here - just ignore it. Focus on what you’re building. Do what you feel is right. Don’t let random people on the internet define your worth. Let’s break the stereotypes! And never judge someone if you don’t know them at all. Back to building and fixing bugs!

I didn’t quit a 9 - 5 like many people here. I never really had one. I came to Austria 11 years ago. Left my family, friends, and my boyfriend to study. By the end of my master’s, I knew one thing: I wanted to build something of my own. Something I actually care about. So I stayed. Again, alone. This time for my startup. It’s 5:55 AM now. I’m at the airport, flying home. Moments like this hit hardest - especially around holidays. I miss my family deeply. Sometimes it's not easy knowing how much time I’ve spent away. But I also know why I’m doing this. And I know it will be worth it one day. One day, airports won’t mean distance. They’ll mean freedom. Travel. And time with the people I love. Building now. So later looks different.

OMG!!! We just got our FIRST customer!! It may be small, but it feels HUGE after building for so long! This is just the beginning🤩

2025 is coming to an end. One of the hardest years of my life. Also the year I grew the most. This year I: → Lost a very close family member → Almost broke up when my boyfriend moved back to our home country → Broke up with my co-founder → Went through heavy personal lows → Almost gave up on my project ~10 times → Lived off savings since October, no funding And still, I am proud of what I achieved despite all that: → Lost 11kg and almost reached my ideal weight after 8 years of trying → Built muscle and real strength through consistent training and better eating → Came back to X after being inconsistent and hit a viral post → Reached 4.5K followers and 4.2M impressions → Grew own․page to 7 paying customers, 1,550 users, 25k+ landing page visits (most in the last 2 months) → Visited 3 new countries → Met dozens of amazing people, especially through X This isn’t a “look how great everything is” post. It’s proof that growth can happen in parallel with hard times. Don’t only count what went wrong. Look at what you still managed to achieve. I’m looking forward to 2026. It’s going to be amazing.
