Federico posts so often and follows so many, he’s practically the Airbnb of AI — everyone’s welcome, but sometimes you’re wondering if you booked a room or just got stranded in a crowded house party!

Successfully organizing AI NYC dinners that bring together dozens of innovators and enthusiasts, turning online conversations into real-world collaborations that push the AI frontier forward.

Federico’s life purpose is to foster a thriving, interconnected AI community where ideas flow freely and innovators inspire one another to accelerate technological progress. He aims to break down complex AI concepts and create accessible opportunities for enthusiasts and experts to collaborate and grow together.

He believes in the power of collaboration and knowledge-sharing as essential drivers of innovation. Federico values transparency, staying curious, and inclusivity, ensuring that the AI community remains dynamic, diverse, and engaged. He holds that technology should empower people and that communities built around shared passion can change the world.

His biggest strength lies in his ability to connect people through thoughtful events and consistent updates, creating a vibrant network that supports both learning and innovation. His hands-on approach to community-building and active engagement keeps his audience highly involved.

Sometimes Federico’s high volume of tweets and following a large number of accounts might dilute his personal brand, making it harder to grow a tightly-knit, highly engaged follower base. Also, the technical depth might be overwhelming for casual followers unfamiliar with AI jargon.

To amplify his growth on X, Federico should consider focusing on targeted, high-value content that educates while inviting conversation, such as regular AI deep-dive threads or live tweet Q&As during his events. Showcasing success stories from his community and leveraging video content could boost engagement and follower loyalty.

Fun fact: Federico doesn’t just tweet about AI — he actually organizes AI dinners in NYC, blending real-world connections with the digital realm for true community impact!

Writing monthly report about AI is such a hard job, few understand, and with few I mean @yb_effect @dair_ai @rohanpaul_ai lol. Here's how the sausage 🌭 is made. 1. During the month bookmark any tweet, blog post, or interesting content you cross. 2. Extract all those bookmarks, first used to do it manually, now I use a mix of @getdewey and @TweetsMashApp. 3. Use multiple AI tools and manual work to add category to each content, score it, and write summary 4. At the end of this process you have a CSV like this: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d… 5. Write a blog post from the top content and publish it ahead of the AI dinner event (lu.ma/ainy). ... Bonus, there are at least 30 new updates on the day before the event, so update the blog post few hours ahead. I'm going to automate this shit. Who else need a tool like this?

I just pair coded with @van_flymen and discovered we have different a approach on using AI. Mine: - I use ChatGPT and Copilot - 80% of my code is AI generated - I chose my tools based on popularity and how much GPT knows about them: e.g. React + Tailwind. Theirs: - They use Bard and CopilotX - 20% of their code is AI generated - They chose new tools that perform better: e.g. Svelte + Tailwind. What's your approach?

Reporting on @cognition_labs's Devin, day 3 I've used Devin for 3 days now, and to my surprise I've already consumed 77.2 ACUs (Agent Compute Units) out of 172.8 / month for $500/month. Devin wrote a lot of code but none of that code actually is solving a real problem: - I asked to fix a bug. It wrote a solution, tested it, and open a PR. I checked it in my local dev, and the bug is still there. This costed 5 ACU. - Out of curiosity and laziness, I click on the suggested prompt to standardize the CSS. Well it wrote a ton of code, which costed 7 ACUs. The problem is that we need to test the changes, as you changes in CSS can do weird things; so we can't trust Devin on it. - I also clicked on a suggested prompt to refactor duplicated function. I'll be honest I don't understand what did change there, and because of the previous mistakes, I can't trust it and I won't spend time reviewing the code. Conclusion Devin is a super cool tool, makes sense to use it for small changes that you can easily test, anything a junior engineer could do for you. The only tasks I'd feel comfortable giving to Devin are task that are strongly tested with integration tests or unit tests, and on tasks that end up in 10 lines PR, or in multiple file changes that are easily to review. Why could you go through doing those changes with Devin, when in your local dev, you could run @cursor_ai Copilot or even Composer and test it immediately and THEN open the PR?!? My take is that Devin is not production ready. The cost is not even the problem here — yes it is expensive, but relative to the potential is actually cheap. The problem is that you need to onboard Devin, then you have to baby seat it into doing a task, and then you have to test the output of the tasks. --- Now. We're a bootstrap company and we can't waste time, resources, or money. So in my case I'll try to get the money back; at least the money back from the remaining credits. Things may change in the next 3 months or whatever time necessary to get GPT 5.
