Good morning guys. I have a 7-week window until December 10th when B2B sales in India slow down until year-end. I’m increasing my outreach from 20 to 50 hyper researched, targeted emails daily and shortening follow-ups from 7 to 3 days. I’ll schedule the next call during the first one to guide them to sign up and invite their team to start their first project on Harmoni. I’ll send handwritten letters with my business card to get their attention if emails go unnoticed. Will not stop until I hear no. Made a lot of mistakes on this whole journey but something’s gotta give and it won’t be me. Wish me luck!

This worked. Here’s the broke founder’s guide to creating a $0 email outreach tracking system. unsexy but $0 stack: 1. Gmail (label all outreach email) 2. Google sheets 3. Sheet extension (apps script) 4. Script in JS Basically what this does is: - Checks Gmail label (yourlabelname) for all threads you sent. - Logs every thread in a Google Sheet (nothing skips because it travks and logs based on label set) - Tracks replies by checking if any message in the thread is from someone else. - Calculates follow-ups: next follow-up = last sent + 4 days (also counts how many follow-ups were made) - Color-codes rows: green for replied yellow for no reply red for follow-up due - Updates existing rows or adds new ones to prevent duplicates. - Sorts threads so urgent follow-ups appear at the top. - Runs automatically daily at 8a via a trigger. Basically what you get is: All outreach emails are logged, replies tracked, follow-ups schedule set, fully automated for $0 spend. Tested and it worked. Same shit with IG, that’s why i switched to X completely. You can always read and write orders of magnitude faster than watching something or recording videos. Founder-led content is king, i agree but its better to get users first than followers who might convert later.

Got another rejection for a pre-seed. Speed running through 500 rejections from potential customers and potential investors. So far all investors have rejected but only 4 out of the many potential customers I reached out to have rejected. Haven’t finished yet, still far from 500 rejections from potential customers. Guess all of life is sales and I just have to get better at selling different things to different people differently. Just have to get past the NOs to reach the few YES’ i need. On to the next one.

Went here for BTech and almost every year this Uni gives me a new reason to be embarrassed about going here. But tbh, wherever you go, you will find your tribe. Thankfully mine were “boring” folks doing cool stuff. Been building since then. Had discovered fire long ago.

Back in the saddle after the Diwali slump in the Indian B2B space. Aiming to gain customers in the next five weeks to maintain my employment. For me, employment means having customers/investors/supporters, or anyone to be accountable to, and being employed is a win.
