Love this from the team at Block and from @techgirl1908 "We're also investing in the next generation: early career builders who are AI-native and comfortable working with agents. We're bringing them in not just to learn from us, but for us to learn from them."

here’s an opinion that upsets some of my friends in tech: imo what happened to banking after 2008 will happen to tech in 2027 we’ll look back at 2010 to 2026 as the glory days of tech driven by a generational oppty to get distribution (via social media), 5000 year low in interest rates and smartphones. first two are gone and third is over harvested....
Forward-deployed job titles By Tom Hollands "New technology shifts the balance of power in the organization, and it’s always the ambitious young people who realize this first. This is where new titles can be a genuine indicator of people creating new jobs for themselves out of newfound leverage. A newly named job title has strong PMF for these kinds of people. If your company is an early mover on this, you own it: you define the entire job." ...
Grant Imahara didn't just make cool movie robots. He literally built a piece of Star Wars history and the Energizer Bunny that kept our eyes glued to commercials. His work behind the scenes shaped pop culture tech more than most realize.

The shift is clear: OpenAI wants to position ChatGPT as the most important product for research and science. With prism they go another big step into that direction.

🚨 Please give it a 2-minute read and share your thoughts. Techies should agree with me that LLMs are getting more efficient faster, and at an exponential pace Now, if you know, there are benchmarks on which LLMs are scored, and each model (GPT, Claude) gets tested that's how we compare the progress and know which one is better...
Sam Altman: Creating software that once took teams *a year*, now achievable for under $1,000 by end of *this* year. This tech empowers individuals and levels the playing field, but policy missteps could ruin it.
Thank you Ryan Visa, the Head of Visa, for enabling this new investment opportunity for my kids. Haven’t felt this excited since Tim Apple debuted the iPhone 14.
Google, Apple, and Amazon spent a decade putting smart speakers in every home. None of them figured out that families aren't just multiple individuals using the same device. Shared context. Age appropriate guardrails. Parental visibility. These aren't features. They're table stakes for household AI that nobody built....

Could it be more obvious now with $IONQ acquiring Seed Innovations that they are positioning themselves to become a Defense Prime? "Seed Innovations has established itself as a provider of R&D for the Department of War (DoW) and the Intelligence Community."
started putting startup profits into AI infrastructure today late to the game but this is where a chunk of our growth capital is going in 2025 the tech that's reshaping GTM can't be ignored anymore 🦾
being a niche tech twitter microcelebrity is fun because you’ll post something silly and then two days later one or two guys in a podcast studio will read your tweet out loud, try to explain it, and go “so true”
SF Bay Area and California is too important for American innovation for us to just cede it to the worst policymakers and their worst policies. If you care about tech you have to start paying attention to local and state politics a lot more than you look at national culture war.
tech twitter is seriously underrated 🙌 met some amazing people here who literally changed how i think about building products and my whole career direction if you're building something, this is the place to connect with real builders Alhamdulillaah ✨

As a 🇷🇴 Romanian defense startup, Wolf-E Systems believes that technological innovation alone is not enough to strengthen national and regional security. What is equally essential is a structured and continuous dialogue between all stakeholders: industry, government, the armed forces, academia, and the strategic community. Romania’s defense ecosystem is at a critical moment, where emerging technologies such as unmanned ground systems(UGV) must be developed in close alignment with real operational needs, policy frameworks, and long-term strategic objectives. At Wolf-E Systems, we see collaboration and transparency as force multipliers. Only through open dialogue and partnership can we ensure that defense innovation translates into credible, deployable capabilities that contribute meaningfully to national resilience and allied interoperability. ...

Most builders fail because they chase shiny demos or trendy tools. Cool tech isn't a market. Operator problems are. If it’s not expensive or chronic, it’s just a hobby.
Hard to swallow but Nowadays simply shipping an AI-powered feature is no longer enough, anyone can do that, especially with tools like GPT. It's not the differentiator anymore as users expect smart automation....
One thing I find paradoxical is that most companies are slapping AI onto their old workflows like a band-aid, calling it innovation I strongly suspect the real opportunity is in completely redesigning how work gets done from the ground up Perhaps the few willing to burn down their legacy systems and rebuild around AI as a coworker (not a tool) are capturing massive market share. ...
you actually can have time to watch youtube or scroll twitter while you work, you just need to first command your fleet of agents to start working and THEN open said apps... dont ask me where this is headed or if any skills are required for a progressive future

Building Vatis Tech was about cutting through the noise and making transcription effortless for teams and solo pros. Still pretty cool to see how much it speeds up workflows.
Why did all the tech media platforms stop covering startups to focus only on big tech? I miss the days of baby startup launches and cool new products hitting the market. How much OpenAI news can we really consume?!

I don’t know how you can look at the state of technology and the curve of change and not be incredibly optimistic. It’s going to be 1000x easier to build everything. I don’t know what the firm line of “AGI” is but we’re rapidly approaching it....
Genie 3 is probably one of the most advanced technology humanity has access to right now, yet over 99% of the world's population has no idea it exists, or how it could change the world. While most people focus on incremental changes, breakthroughs like this quietly push...
favorite part of the agent trace writeup was spotting the opp to make a @prashantmital shoutout: "In 2025, the world learned that including the hidden reasoning artifacts and prior tool calls of models like GPT5 will lead to improvements in intelligence, as much as 3 points in...

Recently, I left my role @xAI. I joined last year as the first hire for the new video generation team. It's been a crazy journey to get where we are today with @Grok Imagine. When I first joined, our goal was to create a SOTA video generation model within ~3 months from scratch. To build the best video generation model possible with a small team and short timeline at xAI required extreme first-principles thinking and ludicrous execution speed. In typical xAI fashion, we started a war room for this effort. After a couple months of burning the 3am oil 🪔, we trained xAI's first video model: Grok Imagine v0.9. With the latest release of @Grok Imagine 1.0, our model is now the most used video model in the world, generating millions of videos per day. It's quickly become one of the largest features both on @X and the Grok app. I'm super excited about the future Grok Imagine models, and I'm sure the team will continue to create delightful experiences for all of our users. I’m very grateful to have found amazing friends and collaborators at xAI. I'd like thank @ibab for bringing me into xAI and giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to build an amazing product. To @Sergey_xai @johnmullan for their support and giving me a warm welcome to the company. To @ZhibeiM @zeliu_ for being great mentors and close collaborators. To @chaoqi_w for pairing with me during the early war room days and the fun research discussions. To @EthanHe_42 @jathushan for being amazing friends and supportive late-night collaborators. To @endernewton for all the great research insights and advice. To @chaitu for showing me what makes a great product. To @kwotsin @sishaar for all the great chats about research and life. To @hexianghu for all the helpful advice and fun conversations. To @r_ahulravi @araavp @SahilJain314 @evanzwangg @aheze0 @LiTianleli @JackCaiXun for the late night ping pong games and memorable discussions. And to everyone else I didn’t mention by name but who were amazing friends and colleagues ❤️....

The Claude Code hype is understated. This technology is incredible. It's an army of software engineers at your fingertips.
Love the automation potential here, streamlining social media management can be a total game changer for busy devs and founders
Men in tech will literally buy a maxed out MacBook Pro and a Herman miller chair because “I spend 30-40% of my life using this, the expense is justified” and then spend 24/7 in the same couple of awfully fitting T-shirts they got for free from some startup 5 years ago.
Apple had a secret weapon for decades: product shaping. Johnny Ive would prototype dozens of ideas in the lab. Show them to Steve Jobs. Then they'd decide what to build. The iPhone itself came from this process. Ive was working on a capacitive touch tablet. Jobs saw it and said it would work better as a phone. They canned the tablet....
I recently discovered how useful Grok is: - It knows all my tweets. - It has an exceptional online search/scraping tool. - It knows all my competitors.
