Why have I focused on only reading physical books? I spent so much time online building my brand, then on my computer editing and writing. Reading physical books grounds me and also allows me to disconnect from the all the technology.

I don’t publish books. Harper Collins is publishing my new book and already accepting contracts from many countries to translate it. Hopefully a Vietnamese publisher contacts them.

Telling an aspiring author to read great books to become a good writer is uncontroversial, yet for some reason people get mad when you tell wanna-be party organizers to go party in order to become better hosts Another tell that hosting is not taken seriously enough

In my experience it’s typically the dumbest people who say, “Why read books when you can just google things?” The most in-depth learning can only be done through reading. And that’s not to mention the wisdom and pleasure that fiction brings. You have to read.
