I’ve spent over 1000 hours writing my first book now. The fact you can buy one for 20 bucks is a miracle. Someone works incredibly hard to distil everything they know into a 5-6 hour read.

Social media discourse has become dull and repetitive because influencers only read tweets. They’re not proficient in the topics they discuss because they haven’t done the reading. To be really interesting & informed you have to read books. Illiteracy saps the joy out of life.

Why have I focused on only reading physical books? I spent so much time online building my brand, then on my computer editing and writing. Reading physical books grounds me and also allows me to disconnect from the all the technology.
