Amazon once launched an IDE to compete with Cursor It disappeared like it never existed

Anthropic’s projected downward margin reset shows how hard it is to price LLMs. Inference on Google and Amazon servers ran 23% above plan, and the 2025 gross profit margin target fell to 40%. Dario Amoedi has talked about The great “cone of uncertainty” for AI investments many times....

Extreme close-up of an integrated chip under a microscope. A microscopic object doing an absolutely ridiculous amount of work.
🚨🇺🇸 ELON SAYS STARSHIP WILL SOON LAUNCH MORE THAN ONCE AN HOUR Elon casually dropped that Starship could be launching multiple times an hour in just about 3 years. If that actually happens, it completely changes the game for satellites, space stations, deep space missions (Mars for sure), you name it. ...

Morgan Stanley in new $TSLA note: “Tesla's removal of the safety driver in its Austin fleet marks a pivotal moment in proving out its vision-only approach to autonomy. The scaling of a passive optical-only AV system would seriously challenge the conventional thinking of many in...

Tesla launches unsupervised Robotaxi rides in Austin using FSD tech. When FSD becomes commonplace, people will finally see that we’re 'living in the future'. With all the other breakthroughs and acceleration happening everywhere, maybe we’ll finally see humanity shift toward a more optimistic view of what’s ahead. We need a catalyst, something obvious and as common as smartphones, and FSD technology might be it....

Tesla finally launched unsupervised Robotaxi rides in Austin using FSD without safety monitors (a safety driver or operator) in the car.
I hope Google Gemini implements more of these exams in countries worldwide. I trust they’re capable, and hopefully we’ll see advanced level material even for PhDs. 🙏
Interesting graphs from Ark Invest's new research report. Can't wait to see Tesla's daily robotaxi miles bar at the end of this year.

🛰️ The European Space Agency just admitted it was hacked again, prompting a criminal investigation — because space exploration apparently includes leaky servers.
What do you hope to see Codex ship before end of month? Team is cooking with the power of a thousand agents and there is still time to redirect them.

This is powerful. Companies like our portfolio company Cyvl (LiDAR mapping for civil infrastructure) and GenLogs (freight intelligence) are aggregating data from the physical world either in a way no one can get or in a far more efficient way. This opens the doors to use cases...

Watch water droplets defy gravity and orbit a charged needle like tiny planets in space!
🇺🇸 U.S. Gov declares: We have giant laser beams, and it's just the beginning! Think high-energy lasers zapping drones or missiles at light speed, already tested on Navy ships like the USS Ponce back in 2014. Lightsabers next, anyone??...

This astrology stuff is making a lot click I’m Libra rising, Venus in Libra, and Taurus moon (Venus ruled), yet I denied beauty and femininity for many years and lived in Saturn mode which created very powerful anima projections
The a16z chart is right that AI capex is sustainable at the macro level. The more interesting question is what happens at the micro level when you zoom into individual companies. Amazon is now spending 88% of projected operating cash flow on capex. Meta and Oracle issued $75 billion in bonds in just the past two months to fund data centers. Alphabet revised its 2025 capex guidance upward three times. Bank of America calculates hyperscaler capex will hit 94% of operating cash flows (after dividends and buybacks) in 2025, up from 76% in 2024. Still technically "supported by cash flows." But the margin for error is shrinking fast....
Visited @cursor_ai with @DeividasMat and @itzdgofficial yesterday! Thank you to @benln for the invite and for showing us around 🧡 Also, how cool is this hologram?
First blog post that goes more in depth on our oss architecture for Codex. Worth the read if you like technical breakdowns. openai.com/index/unrollin…

Kilo deployed a mystery frontier model from a top Chinese lab that's beating nearly every open-weight model on long-context coding. It would be wild if this is from DeepSeek. Codename: "Giga Potato" 🥔 256k context window + 32k output limit + strict system prompt adherence which is actually useful for production codebases...

If Grok and XAI are going to help the Musk dynasty get to Mars Wouldn't it make more sense to prevent the world government from getting access to the data that will be used to power the Mars government? Or are people so short sighted that they do not see the Earth / Mars...
🚨 Elon Musk announces topic-based “For You” feeds coming to X. Example: "For You: AI" that shows quality-ranked content, no politics, no noise. Would you use topic feeds or keep the default For You?

This looks like a product announcement. It’s actually a distribution masterclass. Claude is now inside Excel two different ways. Anthropic’s own add-in (this announcement) AND through Microsoft Copilot, where Claude powers Agent Mode for spreadsheets. Microsoft pays AWS for that access despite AWS being a direct cloud competitor. That happened because Microsoft’s internal testing showed Claude outperforms OpenAI on Excel financial functions. GitHub Copilot users now “primarily rely on Claude Sonnet 4” when auto-select is enabled....

Need to climb some mountains again some day soon. Some alpha: ‘Common intuition’ working title of an ai company we are building on somnia that I’ve been hinting at.
PlanetScale lets you download query patterns reports from your database. You can combine this data with the schema and pass it to an LLM to produce an annotated schema file that guides LLMs on querying the database directly. planetscale.com/docs/api/refer…

Everyone’s focused on the 5x valuation jump. The real story is the collider mesh. World Labs generates two outputs from every scene: Gaussian splats for visual rendering, and a separate low-poly collision mesh for physics. That second export is what makes this a robotics company, not a 3D art tool. NVIDIA just published a full integration tutorial showing how Marble scenes import directly into Isaac Sim. Text prompt to simulation-ready robot training environment in hours, not weeks. The collider mesh handles floor contact, surface collisions, grasping physics....
STARSHIP V4: TRIPLING THE POWER OF THE SATURN V Elon set the "stretch goal" for Starship Version 4, aiming to create a vehicle that isn't just a rocket, but a massive industrial system designed to make Mars colonization economically feasible. V4 will reach a staggering 10,000 tons of total thrust at liftoff....

ELON: THE FUTURE OF SPACE TRAVEL IS REFUELING IN ORBIT "One of the technologies that's key for Mars is doing orbital propellant transfer. Similar to aerial refueling for airplanes, but in this case, it's orbital refilling of rockets, which has never been done before. ...
Finally cracked the Amazon <> meta glasses integration. People said impossible without an SDK. They were wrong.

320m tokens in the last 7 days we can say that I'm super-productive with Codex what about you?

Just added a feature to HardscapeGenius that gives you x-ray vision. You can see the outlines of underlying stones which makes knowing where to cut really easy. This is what every stone mason wishes they could do in real life but they don't have x-ray vision....
A brief explanation of why we (wrongly) think that there's dark matter, one of many "mysteries" my ToE explains easily. Galaxies rotate too fast. Gravitational lensing shows more mass than we see. We "fix" this by inventing invisible particles ("dark matter"). That's BS. 1/
Things will continue to heat up over the next month as we near the Saturn-Neptune conjunction on February 20th. There will be historical moments occurring both collectively, and many who are being hit personally by this transit will have personal events of intensity as well. Themes of Saturn and Neptune on a psychological and spiritual level:...

That’s probably the funniest post you’ll see today. The EU really believes that an EU Parliament resolution can replace trillions in investment and vibrant US innovation? What’s next? A vote to end world hunger or cure cancer?...
Elon Musk says "we need to assume life and consciousness is extremely rare, and it may only be us."
Huge mind unlock realizing ideas can be mapped to space and thus the rules of geometry and math apply.
🚨 A neurotechnology breakthrough may have just turned science fiction into reality. A Silicon Valley startup called REMspace claims to have achieved the first successful communication between two people during a lucid dream — an unprecedented step in the study of consciousness and sleep. Using EEG monitors, eye-tracking sensors, and a custom-coded dream language named “Remmyo,” researchers reportedly managed to transmit a single word from one dreamer to another — all while both remained asleep and lucid. The experiment represents a one-way exchange but demonstrates that structured messages could, in theory, travel between two dreaming minds. CEO Michael Raduga says this is “just the beginning,” envisioning a future where dream-to-dream communication becomes a new frontier of neurotechnology. If expanded, this could revolutionize how we study memory, creativity, trauma therapy, and even human connection in subconscious states....

Elon Musk calls Mars humanity’s insurance. Consciousness isn’t safe until Mars is self-sustaining. A 2nd home reduces single-point failure risks like asteroids, wars, pandemics, or AI collapse. Main obstacle is cost of load per ton. Currently its $1B/ton
Watching Gemini get tripped up by its own search results is wild. Even the AI can't trust what it knows sometimes

Oh no! A "EU Parliament Resolution." What only will the US do, now that there is a "resolution?" How many terabytes of data can you store on this resolution? Because if it is none, it won't replace AWS and all the other US cloud providers.
I’m sorry to ruin your day but the entire concept of a “time machine” is retarded. Location is never discussed. The sun is moving through space WHILE planets orbit. ...

BREAKING: The European Commission has launched an investigation into Elon Musk's xAI chatbot Grok over the production of explicit imagery. Another act of censorship from the EU in the name of “safety”. Grok did not harm anyone. It generated content users chose to see.
BREAKING: The EU has opened a formal probe into Elon Musk’s xAI over “Grok deepfakes.” While US tech giants are adding trillions in market cap per year, the EU is “probing deepfakes.”

Perfect fit. Christian is insanely curious, an excellent communicator, and a great person. He’s the person I ask dumb space questions to, and he introduced me to Forrest Heath and Somos, for which I owe him a big one. Excited to see this guy deploy.
