Since my posting yesterday about Festa's YC rejections in the past year did pretty well. I'm going to start a new series. Full transparency on our latest rejected application. In this first part, I'll share a piece of my background.

Day 7 of building in public 🚀 Can’t believe it’s already been a week of sharing openly here. Today: – Met with my co-founder and finalized infusing $30K into Festa to cover the next 5 months of runway 💸 – Extended our social media spokesperson contract for 3 more months 📢 – Continued writing our internal “Story of Festa” 📝 – Caught up with ongoing customers 💍 – Prepping a new video series on Insta & TikTok about Festa’s story 🎥 – Tweet-storm Act 2 of “Story of Festa” dropping tonight 🐦 One week in, excited to keep showing the behind-the-scenes as we build.

Milestone unlocked 🚀: 250 followers on X! Next stop: 500. Sharing what’s been working for me 👇 📈 Daily Routine – Reply to ~50 posts/day – Time replies for ~7PM PST (peak SF founder hours) – Bookmark interesting posts during the day, reply later at night 🎯 Breakthrough Moment – Growth took off after 100 followers – My pinned video (highly produced intro) became anchor content == huge boost in profile conversion rate 💡 Takeaway Consistency compounds. Day 6 building in public 🚀 Not every day is a grind day. Today was mostly rest + recovery. No big updates to share, just refilling the tank so tomorrow’s work actually counts. One thing I’ve learned building Festa: consistency matters more than intensity. Even rest days are part of the plan.

Day 11 of building AI Event Coordination 🚀 – Helped one of our wedding clients send out this week’s RSVP + prep-fee text blast to their guest list 💌 – Friday marketing meeting: mapped out weekly promos + social strategy to drive the next wave of customers 📈 – Posted a fitness video on TikTok & IG from yesterday’s shoot; more build-in-public clips coming this weekend 🎥💪 – Tonight: coding a new module so clients can send images (not just text) through the AI, small things that delight customers 🖼️🤖 – Pushed our venue partnership play forward by posting a referral offer + DM’ing a dozen contacts on LinkedIn Premium 🤝 Every day isn’t just about building Festa’s product; it’s also building the channels, the partnerships, and the story that will make it inevitable.

🎉 Hit 300 followers overnight! Not a meteoric rise. No viral thread, no lucky break. Just slow, steady consistency over the past 2 months. Daily replies, daily posts, showing up no matter what. It’s not flashy growth, but it’s real. And that’s what compounds. On to 500 👀
