Channels ​ To get started, you need at least one channel you can reach your target audience with. ​ Common choices are: ​ • ads • cold email • cold calling • social media ​ I used Facebook for inbound/outbound marketing and cold email so far for my new agency. ​ Find what works for your offer and leverage it. ​ ——— ​ 2. Lead Gen ​ The first step to signing a client is generating leads. ​ For Facebook, I leveraged relevant groups, posts, common friends, recommended friends – anything that smelt like my target audience. ​ Cold email was a more straightforward process as I could just cherry-pick my leads. ​ For 𝕏, you could for example go through the followers of a larger creator who is in the industry you target. ​ Whatever channel you pick: ​ Learn profitable lead generation strategies. ​ ——— ​ 3. Volume ​ Quality is king, but volume is also key. ​ For Facebook, I aimed for 30+ quality cold DMs a day and 6 posts, both on my page and in relevant groups. ​ For cold emails, I automated at least 700 emails per day and replied to responses ASAP. ​ Be consistent, put in those reps. ​ ——— ​ 4. Appointment Setting ​ Having this skill is a lifesaver. ​ When I first transitioned into the high-ticket space, I spent half a year really digging into appointment setting. ​ I: ​ • had a coach • set for some offers • looked into courses ​ Until I was finally able to develop my own proven framework. ​ When talking to prospects on social media, I’d: ​ • find pain points • find out their goals • find out challenges • defer to a sales call ​ For cold email, I was able to leverage a targeted list, so the only mission was to sell the sales call. ​ I’ll say it again for the people at the back: ​ Sell the sales call, not the service. ​ ——— ​ 5.
