Now the more I watched them, the more I noticed something: it’s not really about content, stories, threads or even results. It’s about owning a desire. A single, primal thing people naturally want, and building everything around it. Because when you own that desire, you don't chase the audience. They come to you. Now these 3 guys are all in the ghostwriting space. Yet all of them had one unique thing in common: they picked one desire, and made it their domain. But storytelling isn’t new. right? People have been telling stories since forever. But Ben made it his main category. He didn’t jump around.(he might've in the past lol) He didn’t chase every shiny trend. He mastered and owned STORYTELLING. And because he owned it, when people hear “storytelling,” the first name that comes to mind is Ben. Now, moving on… @esterezw currently the lifestyle girl. hehe Esther actually started under storytelling, Ben Chan’s wing (this is just my observation, not a fact). But I believe if she stuck with that, she would've been a branch under Ben. So instead of staying with only storytelling, she evolved. She created her own mini-market: LIFESTYLE. Her content now screams premium aesthetic life: travels, apartments, experiences, status markers. Yes, she still does storytelling ofc, but lifestyle is her main domain. Now, anyone trying to own lifestyle in that space inevitably positions themselves relative to her. She built her corner, owned it, and made it unmistakably hers. Now let's move on to this n****r… @_ProfitPath This guy operates personality, dominance, badass energy. Yegor sells something completely different: The “I’m not a pushover” persona. He’s about influence, power, rebellion, and standing above the crowd. He owns that toxic, badass persona. Sure, other people demonstrate personality traits, but he’s built dominance in that niche. He calls out posers, reinforces the space, and becomes the reference point. So his main desire is power, status, dominance. Everything else he does supports that domain. Now here’s the thing about all three of them: Just because they own one desire doesn’t mean they ignore the others. They all touch on storytelling, lifestyle, authority, and more. But the main point is? They pick one and dominate it. The main domain comes first. Everything else branches from it. They’ve built a hierarchy in their brand. So this is my takeaway and for anyone building a personal brand or selling a service: When you sell a service, YOU are the product. Every post, every interaction, every piece of content... should directly or indirectly tie back to the outcome your target audience desires. and you don’t just describe the dream. try as much to also live it. That way, you become the role model for it. When people see you, they see their desired outcome, and they want in. They buy into you because you’ve already anchored that desire. One Saturday afternoon, I was at my boss’s shop when something interesting happened.😱 We had this regular customer… The type who clearly didn’t like my boss. (Which honestly, wasn’t surprising.) My boss was a no-nonsense man with a sharp mouth. and our prices weren’t exactly sweet either. 😂 This customer walked in asking for a particular engine. I gave him the price. And boom. he flared up. Started ranting that the engine was too expensive. Said he had seen it way cheaper at some other shop. Before I could respond, my boss stepped out of the office And without flinching, said: “Go and buy it there.” No discount. No negotiation. No sugarcoating. Man stormed off in anger. And I thought that was the end of it. But here’s where it gets interesting… A few hours later, guess who walked back into the shop? Yup. Same guy. 😅 He quietly said, “Bring the engine. I’ll pay.” I was about to collect the money when my boss stepped in again... “Price has changed.” (my boss knowingly increased the price knowing the customer didn't find it anywhere else lol) That man looked like he wanted to explode. 😂 But funny enough, he still paid. In anger. And walked out without saying a word. Now here’s the wild part; That man later became one of our best customers. Buying regularly. No complaints. No noise. That’s when it hit me: People may not like you. But if you position yourself as the go-to guy in the market. They’ll still pay. You see, my boss didn’t believe in “the customer is always right” nonsense. He wasn’t trying to be anyone’s favorite. He was harsh to everyone equally. Yet our shop was always full. Why? Because he focused on value. We stocked the best parts. We always had what others didn’t. And in that market, we became known as: “If you can’t find it anywhere else, check there.” I’m not saying his attitude was perfect (it wasn’t, trust me 😅) But one thing I learned from him? He didn’t chase likes. He chased value. He positioned himself as the answer. And that’s something many content creators, coaches, and founders forget. They want to be liked. They want applause. So they post what gets clicks. They water down their message just to fit in. But let me remind you: Likes ain’t cash. Having something valuable to offer is one thing. Positioning yourself as the 'go-to' for that value is another. You can entertain the crowd… But if they don’t see you as the one who can help them? They’ll laugh with you and buy from someone else. Even if that "someone else" knows less. (wait, did you see that rhyme, read that again. I should probably become a rapper lol) So as I was saying, value alone isn’t enough. If you’re not positioning it right, you’re invisible to the right eyeballs. So the next time you’re crafting content Don’t ask: “Will they like this?” Ask: “Will this show them I’m the one they’ve been looking for?”

It was a complete blackout. No fans, no AC, nothing worked. People were sweating, struggling to get even the simplest things done. At my boss's store back then, we normally sold everyday appliances. Power generators too. Here's what we learned that got us our best sales during that period: Whenever customers came to buy appliances, we never started by recommending generators. Instead, we'd just talk about the blackout first. How brutal the heat was. How impossible it became to get anything done. People found this relatable, so they'd easily open up... Start complaining about spoiled food, sleepless nights, and dead devices. Then I'd naturally mention something like: "You know what? Since we switched to using a generator last week, we haven't felt any of this. It powers everything we need. No more heat, gadgets work fine. Sometimes I even forget there's a blackout." Now you see what I did there; I wasn't trying to sell them anything. I was just painting this picture of where they wanted to be. They could see themselves there as I said it: cool air, working appliances, going about their day normally while others were still struggling. After hearing that, they'd naturally ask about the price themselves. We sold more than we've ever done that year. And it all happened because it felt like a genuine conversation with a friend, not some salesman trying to push products. That experience taught me something most know but don't apply: The best sales don't feel like sales. It feels like the natural next step. You start with something they can relate to. Paint the picture of their desired transformation. Then let them sell themselves on it.

Back in 2023, I learned a lesson I’ll never forget. It happened on a random Monday evening. It wasn't just double the money, it was almost 10X! That’s when my brain stopped working. Common sense? Offline. Red flags? Blind. It wasn’t hope that pushed me, I was enveloped with GREED The kind that clouds your thinking and shows you the money before the process. And guess what? I didn’t even have the money at the time. So I borrowed from someone I promised to pay back by Friday. 😭 I transferred the money, heart racing, thinking I just made the smartest move of my life. The guy replied: “Congrats! Your profit will drop at exactly 10PM tonight.” That 10PM? It came and went like wind. Nothing dropped. Then the guy called. With boldness in his voice, he said: “You’ll need to deposit another money so we can unlock your payout.” Ah. That was the moment I knew… I had been scammed clean. I blocked the number. Closed the tab. Sat down. And just stared. Humiliated and angry at myself. The silence after a scam hits different, I won’t lie. My chest was hot. My eyes were dry. My brain started reminding me of every red flag I ignored. And the worst part? I still had to explain to the person I borrowed the money from that the “investment” was now swimming in scamland.😭 Lesson? If the money looks too sweet to be true, it’s because it is. There’s no fast road that doesn’t come with potholes. And shortcuts? They often cost double what you were trying to avoid in the first place. That experience humbled me. Now, anytime someone sends me one of those “just invest and chill” messages… I send them a prayer and block with love. 💀😌
