Austin is basically the human version of an AI chatbot on caffeine—always coding, marketing, and dropping knowledge like it's a startup pitch, but sometimes you wonder if he ever sleeps or pauses to enjoy the moment.

Transforming a cousin’s struggling dog training course investment from $20 to $400 in just hours using AI-written presell copy is a prime example of Austin’s high-impact entrepreneurial hustle.

To empower builders and marketers by providing actionable strategies and tools that accelerate business growth and innovation.

Austin believes in constant learning, the power of storytelling intertwined with psychology, and the transformative potential of technology like AI. He values speedy execution, practical results, and sharing knowledge to uplift others on similar entrepreneurial journeys.

Austin's strengths lie in his action-oriented mindset, adept use of technology (especially AI for marketing), and ability to connect educational content with hands-on application that drives tangible results.

His focus on rapid execution and constant projects may sometimes spread his attention thin, potentially leaving some initiatives less polished or fully developed.

To grow his audience on X, Austin should share more behind-the-scenes content and storytelling that reveal his personality and process. Engaging with followers through polls and Q&A sessions about marketing and product development can build deeper connections and expand his network beyond just followers by 943.

Fun fact: Austin credits taking a solo mushroom journey as a pivotal mental breakthrough in his entrepreneurial learning path, showing he's open to unique approaches to growth.

We may not be the biggest... But we are building an extremely healthy business... And that's something I'm super proud of. As I sit with my morning coffee... I wanted to share a few perspectives on how I operate the business. Some context before we dive in... Because I know context can help others understand where this post is coming from: āœ… We will end 2024 around $8M top-line (we did 3.2M last year) āœ… Small team of 6 (with a few more working behind-the-scenes... will share more on that later) āœ… Profit-focused & bootstrapped (bottomline is my core focus rather than growth at all costs) 1) Cross-checking data As we've started really working to scale this brand... The numbers continue getting bigger & bigger. As a first-time ecom operator (that also juggles most of the marketing too)... I've become ruthless about making sure our numbers behind the business are accurate. I use @TaylorHoliday's 4Q Accounting as the "live forecast" of how we're looking on a daily/monthly/yearly basis... And then I make sure to spot-check this with the actual PnL each month. I never take one single source of truth when it comes to our operating numbers... Which has helped me find confidence in what levers to pull at certain times. Happy to note that as I've started doing this... My forecast has gone from "I have no clue what to expect" to being within 1% of the actual hard numbers. Trying to make that delta smaller and smaller as we get better. 2) Steadiness Let's be honest... Entrepreneurship is a fuckin trip. One day you're on top of the mountain... The next you feel like everything is gonna implode. It takes a certain type of person to remain steady when shit feels rocky... And an even steadier person to remain focused when things are going well. If you're not doing everything outside of the business to ensure you're not living on the two extremes... I encourage you to find more silence in your life. As a hyper-driven, "my mind never shuts off" kinda guy... The biggest leaps and bounds with our brand have come from times where I'm diligent about creating space for myself... And allow myself receive ideas & inspiration from the world around me. Get outside... Go for a walk... Meditate... Do yoga... Whatever environment you need to unplug from the business... Find it and use it to your advantage. 3) DO THE DAMN THING I'll speak for myself here... But it's very easy to get stuck in thought loops. I study a lot... Consume a lot... And at times... It's been very hard to just go do the thing. However, I've noticed that no amount of learning will ever out-perform putting new creations out into the universe. Create new ads... Test new landers... And let the market respond. At some point you have to stop watching YouTube videos about how to write better copy... And you have to simply sit and try to write better copy. You're probably better at things than you give yourself credit for... So just go do the damn thing and see how it works out. Learn from it... Iterate... And that's how you improve over time. 4) Have fun! This is a big part of business I missed out on last year. I was frustrated with how things were going... And I let it bleed into every ounce of building the business. Things felt stagnant... I got frustrated... And it prevented the business from growing how it should've. I'll be the first to admit... I never thought I'd be selling in the hair care industry. It can get a little stale for a nutcase like me to wake up and design marketing about thinning hair. However, I've really tried to restore fun back into my work and it's helped out a ton. I hired my first in-person employee here in Spokane... Which has helped me escape cabin fever working from home. I've leaned into better storytelling with our ads... Realizing that our customers have some amazing transformations that the world needs to hear. And I've also taken time to get out from behind the computer way more than usual. Over the summer, I worked ~4 hours per day... Allowing myself to enjoy the fruits of my labor for once. Doing so allowed me to show up during working hours refreshed and in better spirits. 5) Avoid jealousy at all costs It's easy to let jealousy creep in when you're seeing others do some pretty insane numbers. Any time I see a big win here on X... I don't hesitate to like the post and send good vibes to that person. This not only helps reconfirm my belief in what's possible... But I'm also a big believer that what we see in others we see in ourselves. The universe/God/source is showing us what’s available to us too. When we celebrate others... We send a subconscious message to ourselves that we’re ready to receive abundance in our own lives. Instead of letting jealousy eat away at you... Flip it into inspiration and fuel. Abundance is truly limitless. ------ Alright I think that's all I have for now... Caffeine is kicking so I'm gonna go write some banger ads. I'll probably crawl back into my cave until the end of the year... But I truly hope this post helps someone in someway. As always... If you have any questions, happy to help where I can. Feel free to throw them down below and I'll get to 'em when I get to 'em. Happy building, Dilly
