I’m nervous to publish my current stealth project publicly. I’ve been building it quietly and sent it to a few people. It’s meant to help me go from loose business idea >> validated market with direct nexts steps build. Evidence based, not vibes. But I keep feeling like it’s not quite ready to be used by other people. 😣 Am I just stalling myself because of imposter syndrome?

Been a stay-at-home dad for 3 years. Here’s the problem I kept running into: > felt guilty I wasn’t doing enough real activities > scrolled IG/TikTok, but ideas needed supplies or lacked instructions > screens became the fallback (even if limited) So I built something for myself: > daily play idea generator > personalized, research-backed > keeps kids engaged without screens or stress It worked for me. Most builders get really good at the tools the frameworks, the languages, the latest AI models but there's a different skill that actually prints money seeing what people need before they know they need it the gap isn't technical anymore it's the ability to notice friction that's so normalized people don't even complain about it you're not solving problems people tell you about you're solving the ones they've already accepted as "just how it is" that's the real builder skill and it has nothing to do with code

I watched everyone say "no time as a parent" while shipping side projects with kids asleep upstairs. Watched "too old to start" people launch their first SaaS at 45. Watched "not technical enough" folks build with no-code and make real money. Your constraints aren't real. they're just waiting for you to ignore them.

AI lets you ship in a weekend what used to take months sounds like a win until you realize it also surfaces 100 edge cases you never knew existed the speed creates its own complexity i) the temptation is to solve everything. every bug feels solvable now. every edge case feels like 20 minutes of work. so you chase them all and suddenly your weekend project is a 6-month rabbit hole of technically interesting problems that zero users actually care about ii) the real craft isn't coding faster anymore. it's deciding which problems deserve your time. which edge cases protect your core experience versus which ones are just you showing off to yourself. AI made building easy but it made prioritization brutal

Creators use having AI tools as an excuse or motivation and it says a lot about them It's "I'm too tired, I don't have enough focus, the apps keep me busy" Or "I need to set an example for my kids, I want to be here and creative for as long as I can" What creator are you?

i’ll save u 6 months of wasted app dev 1. don’t start coding 2. find a desperate problem ppl hack with spreadsheets 3. test if strangers care on TT/IG/YT 4. only then build the MVP 5. scale what works 99% of “builders” get this backwards.
