Abdul's like that friend who drinks ten espressos and then spends the entire party loudly critiquing the DJ's playlist—always awake, always opinionated, but maybe it's time to let the music play without rewiring the speakers every five minutes.

Garnering hundreds of thousands of views on tweets with honest tech takes, Abdul has carved out a reputation as a go-to critic who can spark lively conversations and challenge the status quo with a single tweet.

To cut through the hype and deliver grounded, honest perspectives on technology and design, helping his audience make smarter choices while fostering a community that values transparency over buzzwords.

Abdul values authenticity, critical thinking, and balanced skepticism in the tech space. He believes that real conversation comes from admitting flaws as much as celebrating breakthroughs, drawing strength from an informed and curious mindset.

Relentless honesty and a sharp analytical mind allow Abdul to pinpoint issues others may overlook, making his voice a trusted source in tech discussions. His versatility as a generalist lets him connect dots across disciplines, from design to development.

Sometimes his candid style can polarize, causing heated debates that overshadow the core message. Over-tweeting can dilute impact, and an undefined follower count hints that his reach might lag behind his engagement energy.

To grow his audience on X, Abdul should balance his relentless critique with occasional threads offering actionable tech tips or curated insights that show his expertise beyond just calling things out. Engaging more with followers by responding thoughtfully can also build a loyal community that champions his voice.

This espresso addict has tweeted over 61,000 times, turning his consistent, no-holds-barred commentary into a rich tapestry of tech critiques and cultural observations that resonate widely across his community.

reflections and lessons from the podcast: “Freedom: Between Islam and Liberalism” by @binnahar85 it was one of the most insightful podcasts i’ve listened to. - the very freedom the West believed would save it from everything… will be its downfall. - we’ve shifted from the Age of Reason to the Age of Desire. - it’s a mistake to treat freedom as a value within the moral framework.. it’s the framework itself, not a value on its own. - for something to be a value, it must be inherently good.. you recognize its goodness as soon as you hear it. - freedom means doing whatever you want, good or evil.. and that duality disqualifies it from being a value. - the solution: tie freedom to justice, not just human will. - true freedom is exercising your rights.. and that can only happen through justice. - freedom without justice = privilege, not a right. - the West seeks freedom for its own sake. but we ask: what about justice? - who gave Western culture the authority to speak on behalf of all humanity? - when you speak of rights without an opposing party, you’re speaking of privileges, not rights. - the West treats its values as if they’re automatically universal. ➡️ three events exposed that myth: 1. the war between Ukraine and Russia 2. the World Cup in Qatar 3. the war on Gaza ➡️ key concepts: - secularism: separating religious leaders from political power. - creaturalism: attempting to separate God from the laws that govern His creation. - laïcité (French secularism): removing religion from the public sphere entirely. ➡️ in the Islamic worldview: - to be a servant of God, you must be free from all else. - a believer should declare a daily state of emergency.. to fight hidden forms of shirk (associating partners with God). - the word ḥanīfiyyah represents this disavowal of anything besides God. - before you align yourself with God, you must disown all else. - islam frees you from the slavery of your own emotions. - freedom in Islam means to elevate yourself. - freedom in liberalism means to do as you please. ➡️ is there freedom of obligation in Islam? no. all human beings are accountable from the time of Adam. ➡️ is there freedom of response? yes. and it manifests in three levels: 1. freedom of will. (“This is because of what your hands have earned”) [Al-Imran: 182] 2. freedom of belief. (“Let whoever wills believe, and whoever wills disbelieve”) [Al-Kahf: 29]. 3. Freedom of action ➡️ religion without freedom breeds hypocrisy. Freedom without religion breeds chaos. - The desire to isolate oneself is a product of individualistic thought. - Amr bil maʿrūf and nahi ʿan al-munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil) is what ensures societal strength. - the West no longer has moral thought, only moral judgments. but why? ➡️ because it rejects the reasoning behind moral values. and once you eliminate reasoning, you lose rationality. Without rationality, there is no thought. - freedom exposes the moral system in society.. it doesn’t create it. ➡️ we critique the West as Muslims.. not as government employees.
