Over that timeframe we've gotten to know him both professionally and personally, and has all the personality traits we look for in a new member joining our team. Mads is joining us with over 3 years of experience investing in crypto and startups. During his first two years working fulltime in the space, he was also studying at university and finishing his degree. We're excited for the most recent @Renzoprotocol proposal to initiate a buyback program for the REZ tokens. I have contributed to the forucm with feedback (gov.renzoprotocol.com/t/rez-buyback-…). It's great to see that the protocol is earning significant revenue and the team feels comfortable executing a buyback strategy at the moment. Based on our understanding of the balance sheet, we feel the REZ token is undervalued and buying back at this price makes strategic sense. I've raised some issues with the current proposal and have made some suggestions to revise the proposal in its current form. I am enthusiastically in support of a clean buyback-only proposal with a separate, optional governance vote later on token use. Disclosure: Figment Capital holds REZ tokens.

Bringing credibility to the onchain economy starts with taking steps to prevent hacks as they're taking place. @phylaxsystems is working alongside L2s at the sequencer level and with application developers to preempt hacks from exploiting protocols and stealing users' funds. Audits are not an all-encompassing solution but part of a holistic approach to security. meanwhile monitoring only informs teams of a need to respond. I hope that, in the coming months, Phylax becomes an integral part of every team's security toolkit to identify, prevent, and stop hacks before they ruin financial positions and professions.
