If Taiwan were smart, they could be Emperor makers, demanding a special place at Xi Jinping’s side. A reunification deal will make the US forward military position in Asia untenable… Without a barbarian force on China’s maritime borders, the CPC will be less Qin-esque and more Tang-esque.
