To anyone wondering why I built Ramble My fingers are slow, carpal tunnel is no joke. My eyes are not the best. I ruined them reading between streetlights on the bus home as a kid. Every time I see a blank page I want to scream. My best thoughts arise spoken, not typed. Yet I love writing. Two months ago I decided to write a book, hit a wall with the typing. I decided to build a quick app after fiddling with some transcription. It worked somewhat, but I was drowning in the consequences of technical mishaps. So I left it for a while, focused on other things... The ideas for the book never went away, and neither did the realization that I could not simply use dictation software or speak to chatgpt's voice mode. One forced structure I didn't want, the other eroded the raw humanity in my words, stripping my voice of mistakes and therefore of authenticity. So I came back to the app, did things right, scoped out the challenges, I'll spare you the technical here, the true achievement was making something that not only worked, but that didn't feel like stepping into a spaceship and be expected to fly it. I'm no longer afraid of blank pages. I have a voice, and it is preserved, the thoughts organized and tagged but never butchered. And I've been using this every day. I share this as an answer to something I asked myself some time ago. What If I lean into my humanity instead of away form it. What if I stop forcing back tears and listen to them instead. So I'll ramble away, get my thoughts sorted, and know exactly what goes on that page. Nothing unspoken. Ramble is for those of us who think out loud.

Today's fail, or more like a lifetime fail. Being afraid of cold outreach because I feel my product/service is spam, not value. This is incorrect and a limiting belief. I build and create in good faith, so why do I struggle with reaching out and promoting. Lesson learned

Today's goal, finish basic marketing materials. set up tik tok account for marketing. start on reddit strategy. Bugs are fixed, workin on whatsapp support.

How do you know a project is worth going "all in" on? How do you know if it's worth it. or should I just take the leap and trust it will work?

Today's fail I am so scared of marketing, I'm terrified. I think if you work in enterprise long enough you forget what it's like to have complete achievements. I know the app is good, one of my beta testers just told me they love it and how it captures their ideas for a story
