Vaish calls themselves a 'Professional Idiot' by day and an 'Expert Halfwit' by night, which is just a fancy way of saying their brain works overtime making the rest of us look like professional spectators in the tech circus.

Vaish’s biggest win is building a visual workflow builder for Cloudflare that not only supports complex features like conditionals and transforms but also integrates real-time updates, turning an ambitious idea into a functional, collaborative reality.

Vaish’s life purpose is to innovate at the intersection of software performance and usability, creating tools and systems that empower developers and organizations to work smarter, faster, and with fewer headaches.

They believe that technology should be transparent yet powerful — optimizing old processes while fostering collaboration and continuous learning in the developer community. They value humor and humility as vital parts of growth and creativity.

Vaish's key strength lies in their ability to break down and solve complex technical challenges and communicate those solutions effectively to others, often with an engaging and relatable twist.

Their over-investment in technical perfection and workflow complexity might sometimes make them lose sight of simplicity or broader audience engagement beyond tech enthusiasts.

To grow their audience on X, Vaish should explore sharing more beginner-friendly content or relatable tech humor that taps into wider developer pains, along with occasional personal stories to humanize their brand and deepen community ties.

Fun fact: Vaish is so dedicated to workflow automation that they've moved from manual deployments to fully automated SDK-based ones, showcasing their hands-on approach to continuous improvement and technical mastery.

saw lots of people mentioning that their workers suddenly got faster after @theo's video, looks like this blog explains it. how cloudflare closed a 3.5x performance gap, tl;dr: - fixed request scheduling during cpu bursts (biggest impact - wasn't even cpu speed, just bad queueing) - updated v8 garbage collector from 2017 settings (+25% boost - 8 year old config still in prod is kinda crazy) - removed unnecessary buffer copies in opennext (50 x 2kb buffers per request - classic death by a thousand cuts lmao) - switched to byte streams with proper highwatermark (4096 - interesting to know that defaults matter way more what i used to think) - patched v8 json.parse with reviver (+33%, upstreamed to chrome 143 - fixing v8 itself is pretty insane ngl) - fixed missing node_env=production in react ssr benchmark (dev mode in prod benchmarks... oops 👀👀) - enabled force-dynamic in next.js config for proper streaming (config mismatches pretty much suck to debug) - fixed node.js slow trig functions (3x faster, benefits everyone - they literally fixed their competitor's platform lmfao) now performs on par with @vercel on pretty much all benchmarks except next.js (gap significantly closed, work ongoing!!!!!)

building a visual workflow builder where you drag and drop nodes for @Cloudflare workflows and it instantly generates real valid worfklows. it already supports kv, d1, http calls, conditionals, transforms, etc. finally got the first end-to-end run to work. right now, i have to manually deploy the generated code and bindings next: auto-deploy + workers tail for displaying live execution. later, i want agents that suggest nodes and generate workflows on the fly, maybe even spin up containers to validate the code automatically. wild that this didn’t already exist, so i'm making it.

Massive progress with the workflows builder!! Moved from hacky Wrangler deployments to fully automated SDK-based ones. And yes! @Cloudflare has a TypeScript SDK apparently, didn’t even know lol. Huge thanks to @irvinebroque for the letting me know about it and to @chatsidhartha and @AndrVenceslau1 for helping debug workflow bugs. Next up: realtime updates via workflow tails (probably)! Still a lot to do, though, it's held together by hopes and prayers right now 🙏

I'm simulating agentic colonies to understand agentic behavioral interactions and networking on the edge. Built a simplified BGP model testing UDP, TCP and QUIC protocols on the edge for inter-agent colony communication Used @CloudflareDev Durable Objects for state, tick system and @Cloudflare agents, KV for data, Workers for agent decisions and AI Gateway models for varied responses with different models Posting regular updates on iterations!

Now that I'm used to how @Cloudflare workflows and agents work, I've got a few ideas to improve the dev experience of creating and managing workflows with them. Hoping to hack together an interesting concept over the week!

Ok, TIL, I can retrieve @Cloudflare workers code from previous versions. I was a bit iffy on supporting versions because I really didn’t want to setup a db for it. I can literally consider workers as a hacky git repo now. Gonna speedrun versioning support for workflows. Huge thanks to @BansalRishit for the idea!!!
