Nick’s brain must be running twelve browser tabs on full CPU mode—always hacking on the next shiny thing while everyone else is just trying to close their tabs without crashing. If multitasking was an Olympic sport, he’s already popped the podium and left us rebooting.

Successfully shipped a novel browser-use CLI inspired by Claude code that garnered immediate community buzz and testing enthusiasm, showcasing his ability to deliver impactful, innovative tools to the dev world.

To push the boundaries of browser technology and automation while fostering understanding of both technological systems and human cognition, all while balancing the joys and challenges of family life.

Nick believes in the power of open experimentation, continuous learning, and the importance of practical knowledge backed by data. He values transparency, efficiency, and the critical need for proving expertise through evidence rather than assumptions. Also, human-centered approaches like emphasizing the value of printed information or self-advocacy in medical contexts highlight his pragmatic mindset.

Nick’s strengths lie in his technical innovation, deep analytical thinking, and ability to communicate complex technical shifts in a relatable, actionable way. His multi-disciplinary curiosity fuels unique insights that blend technology with real-world application.

His fast-paced, highly technical tweeting and heavy focus on niche developer tools might alienate casual followers or those outside the tech sphere. Also, his skeptical and somewhat contrarian views (e.g., on engaging with doctors) may limit broader appeal.

To grow his audience on X, Nick should balance deep technical content with more approachable, narrative-driven tweets that share stories behind his creations or parenting adventures. Engaging directly with broader tech and interdisciplinary communities through threads, AMAs, and simplified explainer tweets will attract diverse followers fascinated by both brains and browsers.

Nick once switched a key internet archiving project build from around one minute to under two seconds by adopting a new Python tool, sparking a newfound loyalty to Python over JavaScript.

wrote a new blog post explaining why @browser_use is switching away from 🎭 Playwright to raw CDP for browser automation. browser-use.com/posts/playwrig… Still experimenting with the architecture, but so far no regrets! We're seeing speed gains and new ability unlocks already. ⚡️

Ok this is kind of absurd. I just switched over @ArchiveBoxApp to uv, and it ran our typically ~1 min build+publish in under 2 seconds. It's singlehandedly making me want to stay on python compared to JS. 👏 👏@charliermarsh @astral_sh amazing job

my take on smart people going to doctors: - any avg GP has probably spent less time studying your condition in med school than you have, bc they have to study thousands of conditions but you get to focus on 1 - don't just act like they should immediately defer to you because of this, you need to *prove* to them that you know more - nothing beats physical paper, never attempt to show a doctor, police officer, or other beurocrat something on a phone screen. always print out **hard copies** of research papers and data, this is the shit test they need to see you are serious about Knowing Things - if a doctor ignores or belittles you, immediately drop them and find a new doctor, don't waste your time trying to gain the respect of shitty doctors - cross-reference doctors w/ good published research against reviews that say "terrible bedside manner" to find the best autistic doctors. if that fails just search "pill mill" on yelp or do telehealth and pay the $250 to get an initial prescription of whatever you need, then transfer it to a more legit doctor after 6mo - most practices bill <100 procedure codes, even if they claim to be GP/generalists they often fall into a rut of only routinely treating certain types of patients. find out what your practice's revealed specialties are *before* you end up in the wrong pigeon hole. call the billing team before you go and ask for a "CPT code price list for your most common codes", they will have faster & more accurate information than anyone wearing a stethoscope. hospitals are required to publish procedure price lists as well

Hey @Meta @LinkedIn @YouTube @tiktok_us get off your asses and cease and desist + sue these guys. Allowing this to continue is bad for the whole industry and shifts the Overton window of acceptable browser automation in a bad direction.
