Torch’s like that friend who insists on setting everything on fire just to watch the smoke signals—great for a BBQ, questionable for a candlelit dinner. If obsession with chaos were an Olympic sport, he’d have a gold, silver, and ‘please stop already’ medal all in one.

Built an agency reaching $10M in annual revenue by meticulously scaling operations and refusing to accept survival as growth, proving that mastering chaos can turn an agency into a well-oiled revenue machine.

To transform disorder into unstoppable growth by pioneering operational mastery and empowering renegades to channel their inner darkness into visionary success.

He believes exceptional success comes not from sanitizing your flaws but from embracing and weaponizing them; irrationality and unpredictability are tools to break cages of conformity; and business growth demands ruthless systems, clarity, and brutal honesty.

Torch’s greatest strength lies in his unapologetic embrace of complexity and chaos, combined with an expert-level command of operational systems that scale businesses from survival to thriving. His foresight and willingness to disrupt norms inspire followers to rethink limits.

His intense, no-nonsense style and celebration of 'dangerous' traits might alienate more conventional audiences, and his disdain for 'playing it safe' could lead to burnout or recklessness if untethered by balance.

To grow his audience on X, Torch should lean into storytelling that illustrates his transformative journey—showcasing real wins from chaos to order while inviting engagement on the mental grit behind the hustle. Hosting live Q&A threads or sharing 'day-in-the-life' breakdowns of his systems could amplify connection and trust.

Torch openly champions the idea that trying to 'fix' your dangerous traits kills your edge, instead advocating to harness that intensity as a competitive advantage.

Agency is the easiest biz to start And the hardest to survive once it starts growing Most agencies hit $100k/mo and die 80 hours a week as glorified employees to their clients I hit $10M annual revenue after realizing growth outpacing ops is a death sentence You need systems to handle the chaos of scaling deal flow You need to fire clients & employees You need to raise prices & protect margin But most people don’t know how to inform these decisions Good news is the ops stack is simple Only requirement is not being a complete idiot And a PM who understands automation & can put out fires (this will be you or your partner in early days) I built it gradually at first & then hired for it. Do not try to do it all yourself. You will get cooked 1) Airtable 50 deals in flight. Pings flying. Nobody ever on the same page This is how agencies decompose Airtable is your command center. Source of truth for deal flow & company metrics Needs to be on a monitor 24/7. Will replace 20 tabs & a nervous breakdown Everyone on your team lives in it - CRM - Project boards - Fulfillment tracking - KPI scorecards (revenue, AR aging, etc) - Time series charting I have lost track of $70k in revenue because I had no clear view of the operation Order creates hyperawareness Hyperawareness protects scale 2) Notion Your company’s collective memory. Access everything in 3 clicks - SOPs (Looms, Miros etc) - Company docs / FAQs - Sales collateral - Case studies - Quarterly / Annual planning - Meeting notes Nothing breaks if someone disappears No more scrambling for links/docs Amnesia is an overlooked efficiency killer 3) Discord Company war room. Slack sucks I don’t care Voice channels as “offices” for every team member to sit in during biz hours Every live deal gets its own thread Channels for each team member Notification system across the stack (more on this later) I have churned clients after $30k engagements because I had no visibility on comms & timelines Chaos thrives in silence Comms should be alive & productive 4) Harvest Every minute must be tracked and tied to dollars You’ll be disgusted by what you see Every untracked hour is cash leaving your pockets Tracking time exposes: - Employees who need to be fired - Time sink clients who are losing you money - Tangible cost of scope creep - Redundant tasks ready for automation Will help you catch employees logging 10 min tasks as an hour etc Poison hides in unmeasured time One of the simplest moves I wish I did sooner 5) Xero / QuickBooks etc Any bookkeeping software that allows for integrations Marry Airtable & your books. Nothing in your finances should be a question mark No gap between your financial reality vs. your operational reality Simple yet most people don’t have it down Numbers don’t lie. But they can deceive 6) Zapier / n8n etc This is where your systems start talking Automation is gasoline. Pour too much & it burns everything down Needs constant attention But done right it’s a weapon Examples Across This Stack: Fulfillment - Deal in Airtable set to “In Progress” - Invoice auto created in Xero - Finance gets pinged on Discord to QA & invoice - Team gets pinged on Discord with their responsibilities - Airtable tasks for each automatically created - They complete them & mark as “Complete” - Automated Discord message with relevant info - Account manager shares info with client Time Analysis - Deals in Airtable sent to Harvest - Team tracks time - Time spent on each deal sent to Airtable - Airtable interface visualizing revenue to time spent - Filter by client to see profit leaks - You now know which clients need to be fired Scale suffocates in the gaps of your operation Gaps get smaller & less visible the more you grow Fix them or they will cripple you

Met a guy who sold his company for $57M. My agency 10x'd in a year after our first conversation Solo founder. Bootstrapped services firm. $0 raised. Cashed out to a Fortune 500. Disappeared into the world Here's 5 lessons I learned from him: 1) Always Take Something Off The Table Nothing worse than a company exploding with every dollar you’ve earned trapped inside Reinvesting profits is how you scale. Starving yourself is how you end up bitter. Set a salary + bonus number that keeps you alive but prevents major lifestyle creep Put everything else back into the operation 2) Contingency Planning You can’t grow aggressively if you aren’t ready to face the grim reaper He secured a fat credit line years before he needed it. Avoided it like poison Ended up tapping it 3 times to survive You're always a few phone calls away from ashes. Have the systems ready for when the phone rings 3) Cash Conversion Cycle Money is a risk when it takes 90 days to hit your account Invoice faster. Have SOPs for collections. Cash is oxygen He was autistic about his CCC. Ignore it and suddenly you're scrambling to cover payroll and 1 big expense away from zero 4) Do The Scary Things Your nervous system will redline on the decisions that matter. The most rewarding moves are scary and stressful He reached a point where he had to take the company global New offices in regional hubs. He had to learn new languages. Flew from country to country 24/7 Daily stress spiked by 100x This move ended up being a key driver in the company sale 5) Empire Building & Exits The best company is one you can step away from without it crumbling You're either building to keep or building to sell. Make it exit ready either way You need to constantly be finding ways to unlock scale Set your minimum exit number. Never compromise. Then go build an empire. Win win Acquihires and earn outs are just failed exits

Stop chasing new clients. Steal them instead Mutual predation is when two species are predators of each other It's a dog eat dog world Your competition would steal business from you in a second if given the opportunity It’s your obligation to steal theirs. Darwinism Most people try poaching & get humiliated Because they think they're just selling on pain points or results You are attacking pre-existing relationships Bonds between people You need to approach the entire process forensically Get in the weeds. Become a hunter tracking these two parties & their interactions Useful information sources (industry dependent): - public case studies from competitor (bonus if for said client) - talk to people in your industry within proximity of each party - ad libraries - sales patterns - recent corporate restructurings - points of contact within each company - LinkedIn posts Map negatives & pain points in every public record. Peel back the onion layers A myriad of angles starts to crystallize Confirm that said client even fits your qualifications You need to know everything before making any approach Pull the trigger too early. They aren't receptive Will be pulling teeth and a hard sell Pull the trigger too late. They've already switched providers If things aren't looking great & you're 100% confident you can outperform your competitor It's time to make a move Some subtle ways I like to do this include: - asking friends for introductions - paying people for introductions - incidental meetings (industry events & neutral turf) - LinkedIn ads targeting prospect with lead magnets focused on what was learned during research - paying one of the prospect's employees for "consulting" Cold outreach not ideal. But works if no other options Prepare a shadow pitch before your meeting that addresses every pain point Adjust it live as new information surfaces in your first conversation Selling results isn't going to get you anywhere You have to sell them on risk neutralization Break the frame of your competitor You can't be seen as just an alternative You're a doctor who has identified problems in their operation that pose existential risk Calm. Clinical. Inevitable The logical upgrade They can either take it or leave it You're operating from abundance They need your help. You don't need their business Close a deal or lock in "trial period" Yes this will antagonize your competitor Cost of doing business Remember you're attacking an existing relationship So you have to build fast camaraderie with said client (this is account management 101) Overdeliver while you become friends Invite them to dinners. Send gifts Become a voice of reason in their life. A strategic anchor The measure of success here is more than revenue It's referrals and influence. Relational dominance This makes for a great client & also maximizes switching costs Somebody might misinterpret all of this as unethical But it's not You're just liberating people from mediocrity
