A reference from a trusted adult in their city (e.g., hearing Austin parents love it doesn’t help in NYC). 2. To see a student at the school do something their kid can’t do (e.g., love school, great academics, or demonstrate a valued life skill). We are opening schools in as many cities as possible so this proof and these references can start in every city.

For some crazy reason, society has decided it's okay for kids to hate their time in school. I talk to executives who spend immense time and energy making their organizations great places to work, where employees can thrive. They then turn around and say, “Yeah, I know my kid hates school. That’s just how it’s supposed to be. I hated it too.”
