Security is often overlooked and can be the one thing that throws all your hard work out the window. Here are some things to keep yourself (and your bags) safe: 1⃣ PAY ATTENTION Many incidences could have been avoided just by doing this. Don't connect your wallet and sign transactions while distracted or in a rush. Better to miss out than get drained. 2⃣ USE A HARDWARE WALLET If you hold significant funds onchain, use a hardware wallet like @Ledger, @gridplus, or @KeystoneWallet. What you decide to go with is up to you. Don't buy a $1k hardware wallet if your portfolio is $500; it doesn't make sense. 3⃣ USE TOOLS FOR SECURITY A good one is @PocketUniverseZ. It has saved me twice now from signing scam transactions. @Rabby_io also has a similar feature built-in. Pocket Universe has an insurance feature baked into their offering, which covers up to $20k, but the downside is they take a 0.8% fee on some of your transactions. The good thing is you can turn this off if you do not want it. 4⃣ DO NOT STORE SEED PHRASES ONLINE It should be common knowledge by now, but people are still doing it. These service providers can be exploited, and when they are, your assets are no longer safe. So please don't do it! 5⃣ IF YOU BECOME A VICTIM Scams can come in many forms; always keep aware of what's happening. Scammers have been widening their methods, from fake websites to pig butchering scams or even remote access scams. When in doubt, reach out to people you trust and get an opinion beforehand. But if the unfortunate happens, contact: 🕵️‍♂️ @_SEAL_Org through their TG bot (link below), or 🕵️‍♂️ Submit a request to reclaimcrypto (link below) If you need more specific recovery services, you can refer to @officer_cia's post x.com/officer_cia/st… In these situations, MOVE FAST! Don't fall victim to scams, and be mindful of your funds' security at all times. It's better to be safe than sorry. I've used @BungeeExchange's chain-abstracted version a few times, and my initial impression was it's FAST. It took a few seconds for my transaction to complete, which was pretty cool after being used to waiting a minute or so usually. Currently, the platform is in Beta, meaning: ⚠️ Contracts have not been audited ⚠️ There is a cap of $1,000 per transaction Some risk is involved, and I would advise against using your main wallet when trying it out. At the moment, the Bungee Beta Bridge connects 5 different chains: ☑️ @arbitrum ☑️ @base ☑️ @BNBCHAIN ☑️ @Optimism ☑️ @0xPolygon Some of the benefits of the new Bungee are shown in the post below. x.com/BungeeExchange… What I was hoping to see but wasn't available was utilizing funds from different chains together for a single transaction. Maybe I was expecting too much, but that is the main value prop imho. 😅 Enjoyed using it so far and am waiting to see what the full product will look like once the Beta phase is concluded. p.s. this is not a paid review. And I would urge caution as the risks with chain-abstracted protocols are not yet apparent. So use it with caution in mind.

Bridges Die. Crazy how fast the cross-chain and interoperability space can change—just watch the video from @OctavioNotPunk below and you’ll see how quickly once-dominant bridges have vanished or been hacked into oblivion. Today’s top interop protocols might be gone tomorrow, too. Take a look at some bridges that used to be everywhere but no longer exist: • Multichain • Nomad • ChainSwap • Poly Network • Ren Protocol It’s not always major exploits or unfortunate events, failing to innovate can also lead to disappearing volumes. Bridges like Hop Protocol, Celer Network, Connext (now Everclear), and Synapse Protocol were once kings but have seen their numbers slide way below their peak. One small shift can flush months (or years) of development down the toilet. That’s what makes the interoperability scene both risky and exciting. It also raises a big question: Will Ethereum’s Open Intents Framework shake things up next? We’ll have to wait and see.

chain abstraction is inevitable, but maybe not in the way you think. @privy_io @biconomy enables more seamless wallet creation interfaces and signature management @ParticleNtwrk @anoma @burnt_xion @SOCKETProtocol will provide the chain abstraction frameworks @khalani_network will provide solver management and collaboration toolkits @EverclearOrg will enable solvers to rebalance holdings more cost-efficiently @LayerZero_Core @hyperlane @axelar @AcrossProtocol @deBridgeFinance @routerprotocol @CelerNetwork will provide the crosschain messaging infra will all these be incorporated into one super protocol? NOPE! the chains will host and incorporate these tools themselves to natively enable these features from a foundational level. it is vital because developers building on any chain can access these tools immediately. it will change how ppl build. but more importantly, it will enable ethereum and the L2s to achieve a more seamless user experience. i'm not expecting it to support all L1s from the very beginning, but starting off with EVM is a good step forward imho. the benefits of this initiative can also be reaped by chains such as @BNBCHAIN and @0xPolygon let me know what you think. am I delulu?

If there's one thing you take away from this whole $LIBRA situation, you should never trust blindly without understanding what it is the other party is supposed to do, just like @JMilei has experienced. There will be plenty of other dodgy actors in crypto and you are the only person whose opinion you can trust (for better or for worse) until you've built a trusted network. It sucks, sure... but this has been a rule for far longer than crypto has existed. If you don't know it, best to familiarize yourself as it will help you not just in this space but in avoiding all kinds of scams that are prevalent irl.

According to chart below... we've been in the "sell your house" zone since the 28th January. Looks like it was starting to reverse but has since dipped a little probably due to the recent fiasco. It might chop for a while longer before moving higher, but I'm no expert. I'll link @CryptoKoryo's dune dashboard in the reply section
