Will Russia capture Kupiansk by October? In my opinion, the chances are low (around 10-20%). From October 1-13, Russian forces barely advanced, and supply issues remain. Ukrainian defense looks logistically stronger. So my answer is No - DYOR.

Tracking eastern front markets. Found 3 interesting positions: Lyman - No (66¢) Kucheriv Yar - No (47¢) Huliaipole - No (68¢) Lyman has solid supply lines and strong defense. It’s surrounded by forests, and the weather may worsen soon. Rain and mud could slow down any advances. Kucheriv Yar doesn’t have strong fortifications or logistics, but I believe the main focus will shift toward Myrnohrad. There were heavy losses in that area, so Russian forces need time to recover and prepare. Huliaipole has a fortified defensive line, and there are no active assaults happening in that direction.
