For a guy who preaches escaping burnout, Eugene probably needs a system just to take a lunch break — between tweeting 24k times and fixing everyone else’s broken businesses, does he even remember what downtime feels like?

Turning a bootstrapped IT outsourcing startup into a $3M+ annual turnover, multi-country operation with 80+ employees — and then using those hard-earned lessons to help other founders avoid the same pitfalls.

Eugene’s life purpose is to empower small and lifestyle business founders to escape operational overwhelm and build sustainable, scalable companies by implementing smart systems and processes. He aims to help entrepreneurs work smarter, not harder, and maintain control over their time and energy while achieving growth.

He believes entrepreneurship is inherently challenging and that there are no shortcuts to success. Eugene values hard work, persistence, and continuous optimization through systems thinking over quick-fix hacks. He firmly believes burnout is caused by broken systems, not individual mindset failures, advocating for structural solutions rather than superficial motivation.

His strengths lie in extensive industry experience, practical systems expertise, and an empathetic understanding of founder pain points. Eugene’s ability to communicate complex operational fixes in accessible, actionable advice makes him a trusted authority for entrepreneurs looking to scale sustainably.

Eugene’s no-nonsense, ‘hard work is king’ mentality might sometimes come off as too strict or old-school in an era craving easy solutions. His focus on systems and structure might intimidate or overwhelm entrepreneurs seeking quick inspiration or silver bullets.

To grow his audience on X, Eugene should lean into his storytelling strength by sharing more personal success and failure anecdotes paired with actionable tips, making his wisdom more relatable and shareable. Engaging in more interactive Q&A threads and community challenges focused on system hacks could boost follower engagement and visibility.

Fun fact: Eugene has tweeted over 24,000 times, sharing his deep well of knowledge, and has helped businesses generate $15M in turnover — all while mastering the art of escaping founder burnout with smart operational design.

21 years and $15M ago, I left my full-time job… Here’s a short (really) story about me and how I help founders of small and lifestyle businesses. If this post feels too long, entrepreneurship may not be for you. .. and became an entrepreneur. Bootstrapped an IT outsourcing company from scratch: • Offices in multiple countries • $3M+ in annual turnover • 80+ employees I’ve helped founders build products, from App Store hits to backend tools for field teams. But here’s the thing… Starting a sustainable business back then required • Heavy infrastructure expenses • Huge operational overhead • Local offices • A big team Today? • Infrastructure on demand • Streamlined systems • Distribute globally • Run on tiny teams AI, automation, and digital platforms have flipped the script. Small entrepreneurs now face a choice • Execute like a beast and struggle to keep up, or • Embrace the new reality and shift mindset to thrive That’s exactly what I did. Now, I help entrepreneurs build scalable businesses by • Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks • Optimizing daily operations • Implementing systems • Applying tools If you’re drowning in operations If you’re fixing teams’ mistakes If you’re working nonstop Burnout and cash flow gaps are inevitable. But there’s a better way. Want to scale your business without turning into a corporation and live a meaningful life? Join the thoughtful readers of my Storyletter, “Who Did Say That’s Impossible?” I share insights from 20 years of entrepreneurship to help you work smarter, not harder. One last thing. For those seeking silver bullets or shortcuts, sorry, you’re in the wrong place. Entrepreneurship is hard. Business, and life, are supposed to be hard. 20 years ago, I left my job to build something of my own. From a freelance gig to a 7-figure agency. 80+ people. Global clients. Stable delivery. By all accounts, I’d made it. But then I burned out. Not because it was falling apart. But because I finally saw what I’d built: A machine. Efficient. Profitable. And completely misaligned with who I was. So I exited. And started again, with intention. Now I help founders, those who want to grow, but not at the cost of their sanity, design businesses that work without draining them. The ones stuck in this loop: • Approving Slack at 9pm • Working 60+ hours/week • Putting out fires instead of growing • Always the bottleneck, even with a team They think they need more tools. More hires. They don’t. They need a system. Here’s what we do together: • Map business functions So someone owns the work • Set up automation + AI So tools handle the boring stuff • Audit the mess So we know what’s really breaking • Build delegation paths So the founder stops being the glue • Create async rituals + dashboards So visibility doesn’t depend on meetings What that looks like in practice: ✓ A marketing agency founder went from 70-hour weeks to 40 — while doubling margin ✓ An accounting firm added 20 clients without hiring — by fixing onboarding, delivery, and communication. ✓ Another founder increased margin by 14% and cut project overruns from 18% to 4% — by fixing team handoffs and decision paths I’m not a coach. And I’m not here to "optimize your mindset." I’m an operations architect for real business owners, from someone who’s been one for 20+ years. Everything we do, we do together. Because it’s your business. And if it still runs entirely through you, sooner or later… it’ll break you. If you’re tired of being the glue holding your business together, stick around. I write about: • AI, Notion, Make & Airtable as tools (not toys) • Systems that make businesses calm and profitable • Real founder war stories (from both sides of the table) • How to build something small, sharp, and deeply sustainable And if you’re ready to make it work without burning out: DM me or join the founders reading my Businessletter, where I unpack my years of operational war stories. Let’s make your business work, without it consuming you.

How to succeed at being a failure. Twenty years ago, I started with zero knowledge about business. I mean, zilch. I didn't even know that what I was doing was called business. Over the past 20 years of developing own business from freelancing to a global IT company with a staff of more than 80 employees and back to cozy solopreneurship, I have learned on my skin about: • What distinguishes good design from bad, how UX affects delivering value to the user • Designing web and mobile applications • Structuring international business • Banks, lawyers, and legal support for business • Budgeting and PNL and everything related to money in business • Hiring and managing international teams • Conducting negotiations • Resolving crises from conflicts in the team, and client projects to emergency evacuation of an entire office • Planning company development • Creating and launching products and startups • Creating partnerships • Cybersecurity in digital projects and business And much more including what is discussed privately with the lawyers and is certainly not available through simple googling. Today, I’m back to knowing nothing about writing and personal branding development. Because the world has changed and now I am changing too. Learn and make mistakes. There is no other way. -- And while I’m here, collecting more bumps and bruises from writing. Sharing my 20 years of hard-earned experience. Helping non-tech founders stay sane and not waste money while implementing and using digital tech. Occasionally, I spout some smart thoughts and comments. At least I think so. In short, if you're into IT and digital business, let's connect. Happy to help.
