Conor’s tweet storm could probably power a small country by now — if only he could figure out how to keep a bank account open as easily as he opens new tabs on Twitter.

Conor’s biggest win is generating over $8 million in revenue through optimized email marketing campaigns, all rooted in his strategic guide that he generously shares with his community.

To empower eCommerce brands to unlock their full potential by optimizing email marketing strategies and leveraging authentic storytelling, all while embracing a lifestyle of exploration and continuous learning.

Conor values autonomy, authenticity, and experiential learning. He believes that gut instincts and firsthand experiences trump groupthink, and that building strong customer relationships holds the key to sustainable business growth. Additionally, he cherishes cultural immersion and the freedom to choose one’s own path.

His strengths lie in storytelling that merges business savvy with personal experience, creating deep engagement. His extensive tweet volume and rapid-fire content demonstrate relentless dedication and an ability to connect diverse ideas effortlessly.

Conor’s high output can sometimes lead to information overload for followers, and his brutally candid style may alienate potential collaborators who prefer a more polished narrative. Also, his tendency to move frequently might dilute long-term local engagement.

To grow his audience on X, Conor should focus on threading his stories into evergreen content that highlights key business lessons, coupled with regular engagement prompts tailored to his followers’ pain points. Leveraging tweet threads and video content with clear calls-to-action will amplify his reach and deepen community bonds.

Fun fact: Conor has lived across multiple continents and isn't shy about calling out Dubai as 'Trubai', likening its social scene to The Truman Show. His tweets reveal a sharp wit that combines humor with brutally honest reflections on life and business.

Why I left Dubai & moved to Madrid I got a lot of questions about this after a tweet yesterday, so I’ll give you all a quick story time: In March 2023 I moved to Dubai with @conorgallagh from Cork, looking to grow KMH and meet the cream of the crop in our industry The beginning was pretty cool due to the novelty - the dinners, the wealth, the % of the population doing interesting things, and so on I lived in the Marina, paying 5x my rent in Ireland and feeling like I’d gone up a huge level Even at this point, I started to see one of the future reasons we would eventually leave: the business infrastructure in Dubai is far worse than you realise Banks, payment processing, and bureaucracy are a nightmare, and getting a bank account set up was a genuinely painful experience The ‘life admin load’ in Dubai for our entire time there was extremely annoying But beyond that, the social game in Dubai can be weird I made friends for life such as @liamottley_ who I later lived with in Medellin and in Madrid, but when most people in your city don’t live there year-round, everything becomes a short term prisoner’s dilemma Your social interactions become more snatch-and-grab: “what can you do for me NOW?” And that got old very fast I’ve had so many conversations in TKMMA where you feel like two dogs sniffing at each other’s crotches to try and suss out what benefit the other can bring you… Not natty. Dubai got too hot in April for my Irish skin and we decided to go to Medellin for a while as we’d always wanted to check it out Medellin was extremely cool, but also got old fast due to the timezone and infrastructure So @conorgallagh and I decided to go back to Europe The only direct flight from Medellin? Madrid. We planned to go to Marbella, somewhere we’d lived before (money Twitter streets won’t forget the Marbella villa crew of November 2021 with some other notable characters on here - shit was a movie) @leoncastillosm told us to check Madrid out for a week, and so we did Day 1: "This is nice!" Day 2: "Wow, this place is gorgeous..." Day 3: "The energy here is incredible..." Day 7: "I don't want to leave." We still went to Marbella where @adampower21 and @roblipsett held their first Marbella Mastermind, but towards the end of the week Marbella just didn’t feel the same, even with how much I still love that place We did 6 weeks in Madrid, and I simply felt a sense of calm and relaxation every step of the way The city just had it all I went back to Dubai after a summer in London in September 2023 Even though I was technically "based" in Dubai the feeling grew stronger. Something was missing. That spark I felt in Madrid just wasn't there. The infrastructure, people, weather, and more started to really annoy me Even things like air quality and food quality are so poor in Dubai that it’s just not worth any amount of money to me to live there I began to call the place ‘Trubai’ due to how similar it felt to The Truman Show to live there (great movie btw) I’ll maybe write about the specifics of the negatives in more depth if enough people are interested, but the main lesson I left Dubai with is that having money doesn’t mean you’re not an NPC There are MANY varieties of NPC (Dubai-specific NPC varieties could be a whole other post if people want to hear it too lol) As the winter wore on I started looking up random videos on moving to Spain and all that it entailed, and it just ‘felt’ right to do so I also went on a weekend trip to Amsterdam for my birthday right after @adampower21’s legendary Nelk yacht party, and it confirmed to me that Europe will always have my heart, even for all of its obvious problems Though the story had a few twists and turns to go… I went to Buenos Aires for Q1 of 2024 and loved it (amazing city - definitely visit) There I met a few good Irish friends of mine who normally live in Barcelona, and I wanted to check the place out to see if it could be even better than Madrid So I did 2 months in BCN after returning from Buenos Aires Cool city, but not for me (could be another post in itself) I then went on an impromptu weekend break to Madrid to visit someone, and the second I pulled into the train station it felt like I exhaled a sigh of relief As I walked around the streets, all the old feelings came back to me and I instantly knew it was where I needed to be Sometimes you just know something to be true in your bones And so I moved back, and haven’t looked back since Probably a few lessons in here that you’ve gleaned: - Listen to yourself and don’t be a sheep - Experience things for yourself - don’t be negative from afar, actually see things before commenting - Gut feeling is basically always right Dubai is of course a sick place, but don’t get pigeon-holed into thinking it’s the next logical step just because you began doing well for yourself Any questions let me know - will answer every one 🤝
