Read to the end, and you'll know all the advice I could give you. I will genuinely help everyone that wants help. If you comment, DM me, or repost so your friends see - I will help you however I can. Free of charge, of course. 🧑‍✈️ Your profile is an advert - I love my community. I love creating content. But at the end of the day, remember that your profile here is an advert. It's not a CV - it's a marketing tool. - Curate it, hone it. People need to remember your name and your PFP. 🏃‍♂️ Go into new chains. - Start by asking one person in the chain about the ecosystem and landscape - Ask them about who else is worth speaking to - Build a map of that chain on X - which profiles, which communities. Forge bonds, then start dropping threads. - recommendations (I've said before - HBAR, Cardano, Sei, Aptos, MultiversX) 👻 Start ghostwriting. - There's a LOT of ghostwriters out there, to the point that I now thing Web3 is largely ghostwriters speaking to ghostwriters. - But there's still space. Look to leaders like @SHL_eth or @davidonchainx for inspiration on how to make it. - Start small - send a portfolio to a legacy influencer whose content is mainly GMs etc, and say that for a token amount, you can create threads for them. Build from there. 🔤 Write comparison threads - Why does no one do this? - Make some nice visuals and compare Pudgies to Sappies to Claynos (whatever). Wale does it, very well. Make it look engaging, get debate flowing. Comments = boosts. 👨‍🦰 Get ambassadorships. - This might be difficult. - However, if you make a list of 10 projects that align with your profile, start leaving valuable comments on their page, and write them up in a thread with objective but glowing terms - you're gonna have a good shot. - Work through the team and find someone that's relatively junior in the growth team as your in. 👫Join killer communities. - A few that you need to consider include my own, @ChainCadets; @creators_nexus; and @HarvestHub_xyz from @Oro_Minder. @NFTNics has also just set up a great Berachain squad. - You won't make it alone, so don't try. These communities will give you paid opportunities from the bat, and a great team to build with. - If you need an in, start out looking for a mod or CM job, prove your worth to the team - that's how 90% of the current batch of killers started out. 🔊 Make noise in one project. - If you become the most passionate supporter of an NFT project on the timeline, pumping out quality threads and animations, then chances are that project will notice you. - I've seen people get y00ts, 1/1 ordinals - you name it. Just put the effort in to be the single best community member they could dream of. ✍️ Write about someone you need to connect with. - If you're struggling to get through to someone, then just feature them in your writing. - I won't lie, I've done this before - I did it with @lokithebird to get into Nexus, for example. Don't be a sycophant - just get on their radar. 🖍️ Work on your brand and stand the f*ck out. - I started out as Captain Scarlet - I used the same colours, the same retro aesthetic - and I'll always be Captain Scarlet. - Remember values, mission, tone and voice - I changed to a Persona because it fitted that same aesthetic. Same colour palette. I kept the hat. I've had multiple people come to me and tell me part of the reason they wanted to work with me was my brand consistency. • Farm airdrops that focus on social farming, but through quality content. Currently that's only Spaace, as far as I'm aware. Don't dedicate your profile to it, but put enough effort in to be in the top 10% or so 📞 Just keep networking. - Take (almost) every call you get offered. - Go above and beyond for each call - if someone wants to talk about ghostwriting, have a breakdown of their content prepared, a detailed content and growth strategy, all ready to go. - Show that you are MORE than what they'd expected 🫥 For the love of God, don't just 'show up'. - No one that posted the same GM every day is going to make it. I'm sorry. Show up and do more. Show your personality, show your ability. 🫵Don't just write about what you do - If you just write about ghostwriting, the only eyes you're gonna get are ghostwriters. Ghostwriters do NOT need ghostwriters. You need to prove you can create compelling content on Web3 in general. 🫧 Get out of the bubble - Go on the Block, look at on-chain analytics, look at macro news, and bring some analysis back on WHY things are happening... not just 'uh oh bags are down.' - Honestly, just reading one Block article could put you ahead of 90% of the timeline. 🧱 Build a list of creators and see if you can do a limited marketing campaign for a small project - start proving yourself as a marketer or KOL manager. There's a lot of people in this field, so focus on: - holistic campaigns that take the creator into account (not identikit shit) - create different narratives they can run with - focus on ONE niche and try to make it yours 👥Don't be afraid of following people to build your profile. - I see a lot of people with 700 followers, following 100 people - trust me, you're better off having 4k followers following 1500 people. I know it's vanity metrics - but it's also a) gonna have an immediate impact on people's perception of you and b) realistically increase your audience 🤑 Don't take every sponsored deal you see - You will ruin the longevity of your profile - If you need quick cash, or get an offer that's too tempting to ignore, then write the post in a novel way. Be satirical, be analytical - just be different. 🗓️ Don't be a slave to the calendar - You don't need to post every day. That's the highway to mid content. Post when you've got something you want to share. 📝 Make every piece bang - They say to experiment. They're right. But you should still feel that EVERYTHING you puts out represents your brand, and you, as well as possible - Get your visuals on point, no typos, no grammatical errors - Concise 📈 You're not a killer trader - I'm sorry, but it's true, in 99% of cases. If you're the 1% (like @KienNguyen_NFT) who actually walks the walk, then you're a miracle. For everyone else - focus on building your profile, your talent, and your network. You want revenue coming in, not moonshots. If you've read this far, you're either a) legendary or b) have far too much time on your hands. Either way I love you.
