hey, i'm glenn i'm the intern for the #1 app on Abstract @gacha_game_ i'm a web3 marketer and also a doctor i have a really intense day job. i often treat people who are unwell, injured, or dying. i see traumatic things regularly. it's a privilege but it's hard i've treated people who have been -stabbed in the heart -run over by a train -crushed by a truck a few years ago i nearly burned out from all the trauma then came crypto. i found a place to escape to when i needed it. (if you think 10% drawdowns are traumatic, think again) i started out in late 2021. i learned the hard way that the market will chew you up and spit you out but i found communities and people who i loved i started on ETH during NFT szn and got eaten by rugs and high gas fees then i pivoted to NEAR and eventually to Solana, where i found some amazing tech and brilliant communities (plenty of rugs too, but low gas fees at least) my portfolio was tiny, so i decided to start trying to earn money too. i started doing what i love: writing blogs, copy, socials; i was good at it. i grew in my understanding of how people and projects communicate, how narratives develop, and how the meta can shift how attention is the true currency of web3 by day i was saving lives, and by night i was minting BRC20s, writing technical docs, and creating memes i found the legends @tanialemon_ and @chasexyz_ who set me loose running socials for them i read books, did courses, and grew my skills (right now on the @Safaryclub certification, which is brilliant) my two careers are both more than full time in some ways they are the most / least respected sectors i can think of i work longer hours than you can imagine but i wouldn't change it for anything crypto has changed my life and i am so grateful this is just the beginning
