Dare’s pricing strategy has about as much consistency as his coffee order—always brewing new ideas but somehow still leaving customers confused if they want a drink or a discount. Maybe next time, just slap a price tag and call it a day!

Launching and successfully running a gaming lounge that earned a couple hundred bucks in the first month while juggling technical and bureaucratic hurdles is a solid homemade business victory worth celebrating.

Dare's life purpose revolves around creating meaningful experiences that combine technology, entrepreneurship, and community building. He aims to empower others through education and innovation while maintaining genuine connections and fostering growth in emerging digital spaces.

Dare believes in the power of adaptability, continuous learning, and that success comes from understanding and responding to real people’s behaviors. He values authenticity, balancing ambition with a relaxed, open-hearted approach to life and business.

His strengths lie in resilience, customer-centric thinking, and the ability to pivot quickly based on feedback. Dare’s strong passion for tech and community building fuels his ventures and keeps his audience engaged with authentic storytelling.

Sometimes Dare’s casual, go-with-the-flow style can lead to overexplaining or setting up offers that customers overlook, signaling a need for simpler, clearer messaging. Also, juggling many interests might dilute focus if not managed carefully.

To grow his audience on X, Dare should leverage storytelling by sharing more behind-the-scenes insights of his entrepreneurial adventures and tech passions. Using engaging threads with actionable tips and personal anecdotes will boost engagement and attract loyal followers. Amplifying community conversations around gaming and crypto could also increase his reach.

Fun fact: Despite having nearly 12,000 tweets, Dare manages to keep things light and engaging, often sharing honest reflections on his entrepreneurial journey, like his candid Gaming Lounge pricing experiment!

**Gaming Lounge Update 11:** It's been 1 month since our stealth launch. (We had to stealth launch because of technical and bureaucratic problems.) Yesterday, we checked and made a couple hundred bucks in our first month 🥳 Not crazy, but also not bad for a business that's currently more of a hobby and that nobody knew about. Last weekend, for the first time, we had a huge wave of customers on Friday and Saturday. Which was really cool. It was so fun having a dozen people gaming at the same time 🥹 **Things we've noticed:** If nobody is in the shop, people look through the window but hesitate to come in. But if there are a lot of people inside (like last weekend) more people come in 😂 We initially priced it at 10 CHF per hour, and people thought it was kinda expensive... but when we changed it to 5 CHF for 30 minutes, everyone was totally okay with that. Lol? 😅 We created a package where you can pay 15 CHF and get: - 1 hour of gaming - 1 drink - 1 snack - 20 minutes of arcade gaming (we give out tokens) Sounds good right? Well we've explained it dozens of times and wrote it down multiple times. People never cared. Seriously. So far, only two people have taken that offer. The rest? They game for 1 hour and pay 10 CHF, then buy a drink separately for 5 CHF... why? We don't know and don't understand 🤷‍♂️ So after 1 month, we removed that offer because it was too much effort to explain when nobody cares about it 😂 so now we just give out Arcade tokens and free drinks to the really cool customers. Makes us look better too 😄 Also, we made flyers that act as vouchers with a big -50% on the front... and even though people came in with the flyer, NOBODY asked for a 50% discount. But they must have read it because otherwise, they wouldn't have seen our address, right? Well, as we move forward, we adapt and try to simplify and remove as much friction as possible. It's definitely a journey and interesting to see how many times we've been wrong so far 😂 I'll keep you updated on the progress. PS: Today I said goodbye 👋 to the shop because I'm going on vacation for the next two weeks 🥲 but my friend will cover for me and work extra hard in the meantime 😂

I started this account excited for Illuvium, and nearly three years later - though I still adore @illuviumio - I’m ready to move on. I’ll write about what I enjoy: tech, travel, gaming, movies, and whatever. Switching to a relaxed blogging style as @zenbyteio. Follow for fun chats and cool topics! Cat PFP? I’m convinced I was a cat in a past life 🐈😹 Dare? That’s one of my real nicknames lol

I've been playing Overworld for a while now, and honestly, I know this isn't going to happen, but I would toss the four different stages and paying for travel out the window. Instead, I would implement single Region's with a level system where the higher the average level of your Illuvial team, the higher the chances of encountering stronger Illuvials. THEN to encounter higher Tier Illuvials, you would need a "Beacon" of the corresponding tier: - A Tier 1 Beacon would attract mainly T1 Illuvials, with a small chance of attracting higher-tier Illuvials. - A Tier 2 Beacon would primarily attract T2 Illuvials, with a slightly higher chance of attracting even higher-tier Illuvials. - And so on. You could unlock these beacons by leveling up, crafting, purchasing from other players, or buying directly from the DAO. For extracting rocks and plants, you would also need specific tools similar to the beacon. A GeoExtractor for rocks and a Botanical Harvester for plants could work well. These tools would not only be necessary for extraction but would also affect the chances of pulling out higher-tier resources. Higher-tier extractors would give you a better chance of extracting high-tier resources from the plants or rocks. Meaning a player with the better equipment can you better stuff out of the same Rock than a player without equipment. After finishing a run and wanting to leave the Region, Mozart would ask you to supply fuel to transport your collected items. Rocks would require Solon. Plants would require Hyperion. Illuvials would require Crypton to extract. The higher the tier of Illuvials or resources, the more fuel (and potentially better tools) you would need.
