At no other firm would an intern be able to write investment memos, do self-guided research, governance, and write public-facing blogs. Through the internship I fell in love with crypto and truly became crypto-native. Working at Pantera opened so many doors I previously did not know existed, for which I am eternally grateful for. I definitely would not have gotten this position with DCG without Pantera’s support. I could never have realized how the trajectory of my life would change after choosing Pantera over a SWE internship. I love crypto and am eternally thankful.

My old (hacked) tg has started messaging my contacts. It: 1. Sends you to a legit-looking Zoom website (it ends in zoom.us) 2. The video will work and my face will be there moving (they recorded my face when I got hacked) 3. The audio wont work and there will be a popup to update audio. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS DO NOT LOSE TO THE NORTH KOREANS reminder to: use Google Meet as much as possible, never download anything, and ask them to type "fuck kim jong un" My hack was similar but I was also routed to a legit-looking Zoom support site with an auto installer. Don't fall for that.

At its core, yield comes from just a handful of places: - LP (@Uniswap , @0xStableFlow , @debridge , @matchaxyz ) - Lending (@aave , @maplefinance , @3janexyz ) - Funding rate (@HyperliquidX , @DriftFDN ) - Staking (@LidoFinance , @ether_fi , @eigenlayer ) - MEV (@titanbuilderxyz , @merkle_mev ) So essentially, just from speculation and infrastructure. The past few years have innovated in how this yield is repackaged, redistributed, looped, automated. I think it has been effective to sell to different types of users (ex lower risk vs higher risk vs security minded vs privacy vs permissionless vs lock up periods). But at the end of the day, it's the same core yield being traded. The next generation of protocols on chain will add to the underlying activity, not just farm the yield on top. That grows the pie versus increasing competition for the existing pie. Prediction markets, for example, are a new product stemming from speculation, yet has no native yield at all. You don't have to pay before playing.

Event was so much fun! It was an honour cohosting Whitepaper Reading Club with @PanteraCapital @0xfishylosopher Had amazing turnout, and lively discussion on x402 (including @coinbase 's design) ! One of the conclusions we came to was that the benefits of using x402 primarily accrue to merchants, not users (other than ability to use crypto). So building incentives for merchants to adopt this is critical. We also brainstormed how different parts of the stack might be built/implemented: tools for facilitators, agent to agent network infrastructure, minimizing number of messages needed to be sent, privacy, aggregating liquidity.

Coinbase is filthy rich since users have no other choice. @pumpdotfun is filthy rich, but people are happy to pay because they prefer it over other launchpads. There is no friction to switch apps. Slippage, fees, ALL sequencer fees, is this anticompetitive monopolistic behaviour?
