Chase’s tweeting frequency could probably crash a server, but hey, why tweet once when you can hit peak noise pollution every minute? At this rate, his keyboard must have separation anxiety.
Winning the ‘Rookie of the Year’ award at Solana Mobile is a major achievement that positioned Chase as a notable rising star in the crypto space, blending humor and expertise seamlessly.
Chase's life purpose revolves around making crypto accessible and fun while fostering community engagement. He aims to demystify complex topics like tax and blockchain through humor and relatability, all while building a lively and supportive digital ecosystem.
Chase believes in transparency, the power of knowledge sharing, and the importance of maintaining a down-to-earth approach in a tech-heavy world. He values authenticity and humor as bridges connecting him to his audience, emphasizing the human side of crypto and web3.
Chase’s biggest strength is his ability to mix valuable crypto insights with engaging, humorous content that invites interaction and builds a strong community vibe.
His large volume of tweets (over 80,000) and tendency toward high-energy, sometimes impulsive content might overwhelm new followers or obscure his more technical insights.
To grow his audience on X, Chase should leverage more curated tweet threads that distill his vast knowledge into digestible, sharable nuggets while keeping his signature humor intact. Engaging more in community conversations and spotlighting follower interactions will also deepen loyalty and amplify reach.
Fun fact: Chase once promised to streak naked across the stage at Solana Conference if he hits 100,000 likes—a testament to his bold and entertaining nature.

FYI to anyone who uses @coinbase and lives in the US, every year they file a W9 to the IRS. I just checked mine on the app and the estimated gains was large. Come to find out that they start adding up all transfers in and out, so if you don't specifically go into the coinbase app, provide details for each of those transactions , you'll probably get a large tax obligation filed in that W9 and have a nightmare to deal with later. It was really easy to add details to each tx. If its just simple transfer in, you just select the default option "transferring to myself". Just by adding the info to each transfer transaction it reduced the estimated w9 reporting by 99%. To be clear this isn't an actual issue with Coinbase. They track the best they can and its up to you to provide accurate info so they can report properly.
Can I say something without everyone getting sad? The timing of this could not have turned out any crazier, but its very fitting considering “we won forever” and have come full circle since I joined this ecosystem full time. After nearly four years at Solana Labs → Solana Foundation, I'm stepping down from my post. Not because anything's wrong – quite the opposite. Sometimes you just know when you've played your part in the story. Let me explain. @DanPaul000 has these sayings that he has repeated since I started working here about serving our "tour of duty" and “working ourselves out a of job.” To some, it sounds strange but I always loved the idea of it. You show up, you build what needs built, support who needs support and then – if you're honest with yourself – you recognize when your job is done and it's time to move on to the next chapter. Its easier for some roles than for others at Solana Foundation, and of course working for a foundation is much different than those of you that are founders, to which there really isn’t any equivalence there. Looking back to 2021, we had 75 developers (real) – those locked in homies and degens that would do anything to make this chain succeed. And they actually fucking did it. Today, there are thousands of developers, with over a thousand teams competing in our global hackathons twice a year building REAL businesses. But numbers don't tell the real story. What matters is how the energy has shifted. The questions I get now aren't "How do we build this or get involved?" but rather proclamations of "We’re going to build the shit out of everything and you can’t stop us!" The ecosystem isn't looking for permission anymore. It's just fucking building. That's the thing about true momentum – it makes the original catalysts obsolete, such as ecosystem servants like myself. My strength was always in the chaos of early stages, identifying that hungry talent and giving them the support and push they needed, and in finding signal in the noise. Now the signal is deafening. The communities and individuals we helped spark early on are doing things I couldn't have even imagined, and better yet, they're doing it without needing guidance from above. That's not just growth – that's evolution. I've been thinking a lot about the idea of both network states, blockchain cities and alternative work lifestyles. A genuine reimagining of how we build communities and work together. But I'm not rushing into anything quite yet with regards to work. I'm moving from Costa Rica to Bali, letting the dust settle, and listening. Sometimes the best moves come from the quiet moments. To @rajgokal and @DanPaul000 – thanks for seeing something worth betting on in that persistent internet guy flooding your DMs. You didn't just give me a job; you gave me a front-row seat to a revolution. And you’ve inspired a generation of new builders and founders along the way. To everyone building in this ecosystem – you never needed permission, you just needed an opportunity and little bit of moral support. Watching you all succeed, and seeing this community flourish on its own merits has been the best part of this whole journey. I'm taking some time now. Real time. The kind where you put your phone down and remember what your family looks like without a screen in between 24/7. I’ve been terminally online, working full time in crypto for 7 straight years now and I need a real break. Don't worry though – my crippling Twitter addiction isn't going anywhere. Some habits are too good to break. This isn't an ending, it's just me recognizing that the best thing I can do for myself is to recharge and spend time with my family, and wait for inspiration to strike. I have every intention of directing that reclaimed energy and inspiration right back into this ecosystem in a totally reimagined capacity. But until then, I’m rejoining the community as just another degenerate participant, making memes and watching this ecosystem thrive. I’ll be around here for awhile finalizing some remaining work, and shitposting my heart out until the end of the year, but mostly winding down. And lastly, a message to all the most OG of Solana OGs out there, some lore that I’ve been hiding for years and the time finally feels right. I’m sure you remember everyones favorite (or least favorite) unhinged solana maxi @thesolmane from the 2020/2021 era when there were only a few of you here. There were lots of conspiracy theories of his account deactivation and disappearance. Many thought he retired from crypto and moved to a tropical island. That’s partially true, he actually moved to Costa Rica but rather than retire he shut down the account and joined solana as their very first dev rel =) What a fucking gift this has all been. THANK YOU! gn
