Horrific scenes out of Israel over the last 24 hours as civilians shelter from a barrage of terrorist escalation. Attacks on the State of Israel are attacks on us all and must be immediately condemned by international leaders. I pray for the safety of everyone in the region.

Proud to stand up for freedom and democracy for the people of Iran. While the Iranian regime poses a threat to us all, the most oppressed are its own citizens. Freedom, dignity and self determination are universal values.

Laureen and I were saddened to learn of the passing of Aline Chrétien. We will always remember her kind nature and unwavering devotion to her beloved husband Jean and their family. We join our fellow Canadians in thanking Aline for her lifelong service to our country.
