For a guy who thinks sales calls are more entertaining than Netflix, Shamus probably considers buffering videos a personal insult to his productivity—though maybe he just wishes closing deals was as easy as binge-watching a season.

Shamus’s biggest win so far is scaling a million-dollar annual income before age 20 and cementing himself as a rising entrepreneurial voice with a podcast and a dedicated following to inspire the next gen of founders.

Shamus’s life purpose revolves around disrupting industries and forging new paths to financial independence, proving that age is no barrier to scaling impressive entrepreneurial heights. He is driven to empower and educate young hustlers and startup founders to identify real market needs and execute relentlessly.

He believes in relentless hustle over passive entertainment, the importance of tackling genuine problems, and that success is earned through disciplined salesmanship and strategic innovation. Laziness is the enemy of progress, and true achievement requires starting with the market’s pain points.

Shamus’s greatest strengths are his youthful ambition, fearless sales skills, and ability to communicate tough love that motivates his audience to outwork and outsell their peers. He's skilled at turning complex startup realities into digestible advice.

His blunt, no-excuses style and lightning-fast pace might sometimes alienate more sensitive or cautious followers who crave nuance, and the intensity of 'hustle culture' can come off as relentless pressure.

To grow his audience on X, Shamus should leverage his storytelling talents further by sharing behind-the-scenes looks at deal-making, integrate more engaging replies to followers to build community, and host Twitter Spaces to capitalize on live interaction, showcasing his expertise and approachable side simultaneously.

Fun fact: Shamus closed a $7,000 deal while literally on a flight — talk about turning travel time into grind time!

This Ivy League dropout can predict how you'll die. He studied computational biology at UPenn before dropping out to hack your DNA. Here's his story 👇 At 5 years old, Kian Sadeghi woke up one day, and his life had changed forever. His cousin passed away in her sleep. The only explanation his parents could provide was "bad genetics." But Kian had no idea what that even meant. So he let his curiosity take over, and at 17 years old, started to learn everything he could about human biology. What he discovered is shocking. 90% of people who have a pathogenic variant for preventable cancers and diseases don't know they have it - insane! 🤯 That's when he realized anyone can hack their DNA to live longer. How? Through whole genome sequencing. He founded @nucleusgenomics in 2021 to enable anyone to analyze their whole genome and detect the diseases they are at high risk of, like cancer. I know what you're thinking, "That sounds like 23andMe..." But it's not even close. 23andMe analyzes 0.1% of DNA. Kian figured out a way to analyze ~100% of your DNA. This enables them to find biomarkers that never would have appeared in a previous test. And just this year, they crossed $18 million in funding, becoming the world's most well-funded biotech company. Listen to my full interview with Kian below.

At 15, I sent Mark Cuban a cold email asking for a meeting. He said no. Eight months later, I was on a Zoom call with him. I was sitting in my bedroom corner and just pushed send on a cold email to Mark Cuban, inviting him to come on my podcast. I had maybe 100-200 listeners (tiny, I know). I was 15. 45 minutes later, my phone buzzed. Mark Cuban - "I wish I had the time, but I don't." My heart was racing. That rejection hit different. Mark Cuban knew I existed. That meant I was one email away from yes. So I spent the next eight months becoming undeniable. Started interviewing dozens of founders every day after school. Begged for intros until I got Spencer Rascoff (Zillow Co-Founder). Tim Draper came next. Then, one random Tuesday, scrolling Twitter during physics class, I see Mark posting about Cost Plus Drugs. He's doing everything he can to get the word out. That's when it clicked. I wasn't going to pitch him on what I wanted. I was going to offer what he was already asking for. New email: "I can help get Cost Plus Drugs in front of more people." 24 hours later: CC'd his assistant, and we scheduled an interview. That interview crossed 1.2 million views on LinkedIn alone. And the journey taught me something invaluable: The key to sales isn't showing someone how much you know. It's showing them you understand what they're trying to accomplish. Now, at 19, I run Dealroom Media - we're approaching $1M in ARR, helping B2B founders generate pipeline through founder-led content on LinkedIn. (Send me a message if you want to turn LinkedIn into a revenue channel.) All from a billionaire's rejection.
