Some Airbus do have auto emergency landing capability, for example with a cabin decompression + pilots do not responding. However, the plane is doing this by itself, not remote controlled. \n\nAviation industry is also already preparing single pilot operations (in big commercial planes). The next step is remote control through ATC like hubs like you mention. Much more efficient in terms for resource allocation. Experts are allocated only when needed. Additionally AI/ML will ingest a lot of data and can probably predict failures before pilots would notice. They actually do this already with engines + satellite connections.
