For someone buried in data and analytics, Matteo’s tweet count suggests he might be trying to break the world record for 'most notifications ignored while sleeping.' At this rate, his phone probably files a restraining order against him every weekend.
Matteo’s biggest win? Quitting his full-time job after two years of hustle to dedicate himself fully to TryAstroApp, turning a dream into reality and inspiring many aspiring entrepreneurs.
Matteo’s life purpose is to empower app creators and entrepreneurs by uncovering lucrative market niches and demystifying effective growth strategies, helping others turn their digital projects into thriving businesses.
He believes that the right combination of data analysis and smart marketing can unlock massive potential in seemingly small niches, and that persistence through challenges, like balancing personal and professional life, is the key to entrepreneurial success.
His biggest strength lies in his analytical mindset coupled with practical experience, enabling him to spot high-potential apps and articulate effective marketing strategies that others can emulate.
Matteo’s intense focus on numbers and strategy might sometimes overshadow the softer side of storytelling, risking engagement with audiences who crave personal connection beyond stats and reports.
To grow his audience on X, Matteo should sprinkle personal anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories alongside his analytical posts. Engaging more in conversations and responding to comments can transform followers into a loyal community.
Fun fact: Matteo’s dedication shows in his prolific tweeting—over 12,000 tweets! That’s sharing insights like it’s going out of style.

Today is a special day! After two years I finally quit my job to dedicate myself full time to @TryAstroApp In these two years it has been really hard to reconcile my full time job with this project and my family but now I can finally take it to a new level! I can't wait to start this new year! It took me two years to realize this dream but I'm finally here ❤️
Today I turn 33. The last year and a half has completely changed my life I started working when I was 19, I didn't go to college, and when I got to 27 I felt lost. I worked as a system administrator for years and I liked this job and I still like it today, but I felt like I was wasting my life with a job that I liked but that would never allow me to fulfill myself as a person. What I wanted to do was create something that could help people and allow me to earn money to live. At 27 I started programming for the first time. Children today start programming at the age of 8, I was 27 and I had no idea what I was doing. Anyway, I decided to try to create small projects, at the beginning they were just scripts then, small apps. I started studying everything I could about programming, I was obsessed with the subject, not because I wanted to become a developer, but because I wanted to create my own product and realize my dream of starting a small company. I spent years studying and creating small projects on my own, I wanted to create an app that could be successful and so I understood that the best way to do it was to interview people who had already done it. So I started a podcast in Italian called "Sviluppare un'app" that I carried on for 2 years, talking about what I learned and interviewing people who had created successful projects. podcasts.apple.com/it/podcast/svi… My whole life in those years (and still is) was focused on creating a successful product, I spent all my weekends in front of the computer working on my ideas and also every evening after my full time job. At the beginning of 2023 I finally released my first paid product (Before I couldn't do it for tax reasons), @tryastroapp which was the result of months of work. After the release of the app there was an initial enthusiasm but then in the following months the sales dropped, I really didn't know what to do to get more people to buy it. Like many others before me, I thought that creating the product was the most complicated thing, instead it turned out to be the most fun. From that point on it was really difficult, I had no idea how to grow a product, but I started trying everything. I created two books on App Store Optimization to promote my software. tryastro.app/books/ I started creating a course on Youtube on ASO. youtube.com/watch?v=ilFFBj… I tried different advertising platforms. And I also tried to create a product to promote @tryastroapp (Cross Promotion) it was my app Explorer. apps.apple.com/it/app/store-r… During this period I doubted dozens of times that I could grow the product but at the end of September 2023 after months of work something started to move. I came first on product hunt, word of mouth started to work, my efforts to provide valuable content on X started to pay off, and above all, I had changed as a person, starting to believe more in my abilities. In the same period in which Astro started to grow my girlfriend was pregnant, and in October my daughter was born. Her birth was the best moment of my life, we had recently moved in a new house, and Astro was growing. My whole life was changing after months without any progress in a very short time. Since then, Astro has continued to grow month after month, and little by little I am realizing my dreams. I no longer feel lost, but to achieve this goal it took 6 years, from when I wrote my first line of code to now. If you have read this far I just want to tell you this: - It is never too late to make your dreams come true. - When things get tough, believe in yourself. - You don't have to be a genius or have gone to expensive universities to achieve something in your life, you just need commitment and the desire to overcome your fears. Changing your life is scary, but you can't be happy if you are not willing to do everything possible to be so.
