This is called chasing dopamine. Building = monotonous daily work (no dopamine) Which is why your brain tries to trick you into dopamine seeking tasks. If you're building and getting no dopamine that's a good sign, keep going and don't fall for your brain's tricks.

Cannot stress enough the important of expanding your skillset as a builder. Don’t spend a decade building apps and wondering why you’re not where you thought you’d be. Pick a project. Dedicate the next 3 years to it, learn all the skills needed for building and distribution.
