The Connector
Leif Jerami is a fractional CTO and tech enthusiast who is revamping his online presence and services. He shares insights into his professional journey, embraces new challenges, and is passionate about helping others with their tech needs.
Leif's so fractional, even his title is only working part-time!
Successfully launched his new website and is redefining his career with a fresh perspective and services.
To connect with others in the tech industry, share knowledge, and build a community around fractional CTO services and tech solutions.
Believes in the value of sharing experiences and learning from others, embracing new challenges, and the importance of community in the tech industry.
His ability to connect with others and share valuable insights, along with his willingness to embrace new challenges and learn from them.
May be seen as too self-deprecating or overly critical of himself, which could undermine his expertise and value.
To continue building his audience, Leif should engage in more collaborative projects, share his coding and AI experiences in depth, and actively participate in tech communities online and offline.
Leif has recently moved to a new country, has a background in coding and AI, and is relaunching his career with a focus on fractional CTO services.

Big news! Just launched my new website at leifjerami.com. Spoiler alert: I'm a fractional CTO!๐ Check out the intro video - it's me, trying not to look awkward on camera.๐ I've been doing fractional CTO โsecretlyโ for years. Reasonsโ because I thought it was boring. And as I stumbled upon several โfractionalโ folks selling their services differently, I was like, โHey, this is nice!โ Remember my burnout story? And me quitting the AI accelerator before it began? Yeah, it was hard! But moving to a new country๐ฐ๐ฟ has been a blessing! Hence, all these big changes!๐ So, I'm back to coding! ๐ป It's like reuniting with an old flame, but with less drama of course!๐คฃย Built my site with Astro and Svelte. Ain't it pretty? This coding comeback isn't just for kicks. It's levelling up my day job AND giving me courage to build my own SaaS!๐ So, yeah, that's me - rediscovering old passions, embracing new challenges, and resisting the urge to turn everything into shitposts or dad jokes.๐คญ Wanna chat about your tech challenges? Or just chat, tis fine with me!๐บ

It's been a mentally tough week, but there's progress. 2โ3 years ago, I would've bailed. Many say "just do it" or "ship it already". After countless "gym" sessions, it's still not easy. Then one day, you've had enough. You said to yourself, "I quit!" You quit overthinking and just act on the first thing that's been bugging you, and you know it will be worth it. So I did it all. In one day. And surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. Shoutout to @richardker for this reminder today.

So, I applied for an AI accelerator program in Astana, KZ and passed the first round. The next one will be a Zoom interview. I'm considering dropping out even before everything starts. Hereโs why. -I experienced a major burnout at the end of last year. I am just starting to feel normal again after trying to recover for almost 8 months. -This type of program is not good for my mental health. They're fast and furious, the "hustle till you die" kind of situation. Kidding, but really, I would have to give up my sleep, my social life (if I have one), and my relationships with my family. -I would have to reset my values again, just to fit into this one. I'm not sure if the +$22K funding is worth the suffering. -And I can't have โchronic rottingโ! @poppacalypse Eh, wait... it should be the opposite. Anyway, if I were still in my 20s-30s, I would definitely want to join. The idea is not to just build any kind of AI product, but to build an AI product that sells, which most of us are lacking.๐คฃ Oh well. At the end of the day, do whatever brings you joy and prioritize your well-being.๐ Let's go!๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐จ
