i don't usually post about the iit bs degree but fuck it, i need to say this today i have been doing this degree for the last 1.5 years, and i've met some of the most cracked mofos in india people managing US based companies, building startups, and doing wild stuff in ml and ai not just yapping. and the professors? these are some of the best minds in india teaching us. the top 20% learners get direct access to iitm's campus resources. out of over 52,000 students who've started this program since 2021, only around 130 have actually graduated with the full bs degree. that's 0.25%. let that sink in. most people don't even make it past the foundation and diploma levels. that should tell you everything about how brutal this gets when you're deep in it. the community. the people. the sheer hunger in this group. i know this one guy who worked for perplexity and now working for fucking anthropic, and he proudly reps 'iitm' in his bio. like, how do you even compete with that level of talent and ambition? you've got 18 year olds studying alongside working professionals, people doing dual degrees, career changers in their 40s and 50s. everyone's on their own timeline, but everyone's pushing hard. people can say whatever they want about online degrees or whatever. i don't care anymore. this program has built something rare: a community of people who are genuinely, relentlessly building the future. and i'm grateful as hell to be part of it. dhanyanvad

landed in japan for the first time 2.5 months ago thinking it was gonna be a one-time thing guess i was wrong lol. heading back for a MONTH this time. still processing that this is real life.
