I really don’t understand why @POTUS did this…I think it was deliberate - 1/ he knows the press corps is WITH him and watches all that he does 2/ he could have gotten a bag 3/ he could have had secret service carry it-that is why I think it is deliberate

Since I started my legal analysis at CNN, I watched it on and off yesterday as it reported about Trump’s trial;I was surprised at the glee shown by its anchors and correspondents;whether you like/don’t like Trump, this is not a gleeful occasion and journalists should not wear their politics on their sleeves

Why does Trump still have a gag order on him from his New York trial that ended with a jury decision on May 30? Judge Merchan is wrong to extend it. The Supreme Court is very strong about “prior restraint” and if the gag order gets there, expect a 9-0 decision.

I can’t tell you how many lawyers have approached me saying they are shocked Judge Juan Merchan did not recuse himself and pass the trial to another judge - and I think? Why are these lawyers such cowards that they won’t speak up publicly? Every lawyer knows it is the “appearance of impropriety” - I would never hire a lawyer who is a coward

I admit, I am the only one who thinks this…and I have been saying this for 2 years…but my wild guess is that Hillary Clinton will be top of the Dem ticket. Harris’ poll numbers are so bad that D’s can’t run her at the top..and Biden (unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat soon) is not doing well. HRC is popular in her party and I am sure a rematch would be something that might fire her up to get on the ticket. (Nothing like a political grudge to give someone determination.) She has been making moves lately with endorsements etc…
