Kyle, you’ve got so many projects in the air, I’m half expecting you to unveil a startup that manages all your other startups. At this rate, you might just be the CEO of Chaos Incorporated!

Kyle’s crowning achievement is successfully launching multiple startups, earning recognition not just for ideas but also for execution and resilience in a competitive landscape.

To create and scale impactful ventures that solve real-world problems, inspiring others to take bold risks and pursue their own entrepreneurial journeys.

Kyle believes in the power of innovation, resilience, and continuous iteration. He values independence, creativity, and the spirit of hustle, trusting that perseverance and adaptability will lead to success.

His biggest strengths lie in his vision for scalable business models, relentless work ethic, and ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping his audience engaged with consistent updates.

However, juggling many projects sometimes leads to diluted focus, making it challenging for followers to pinpoint his core mission or the standout venture among his initiatives.

To grow on X, Kyle should focus on storytelling around each project’s journey—sharing behind-the-scenes challenges and wins to build emotional connections. Leveraging Twitter threads and engaging visuals can help crystallize his multifaceted ventures into memorable narratives for his audience.

Fun fact: Kyle essentially uses his Twitter as a living portfolio, sharing links to multiple startups that he's actively building, making each tweet a potential gateway to his next big idea.

We're thinking of moving @job_boardly over to One-time Payment pricing... I can't shake this feeling that we will grow way faster this way The idea is partly inspired by @marc_louvion and other similar stories Are we crazy?

BIG day. We launched on Product Hunt šŸš€ AND Lifetime Access pricing producthunt.com/posts/job-boar… Friends of @job_boardly, if you can show us some love on PH @jmcharnes and I will be forever grateful Currently at #12. Think we can take top 3?

Big news to share... Job Boardly has been acquired! šŸŽ‰ @jmcharnes and I met as strangers on the internet and started Job Boardly as a tiny side project. No funding, no team, just two people trying to build something cool and useful. Two years later, it’s powering hundreds of niche job boards. But as our time got spread thin, we realized it deserved more attention than we could give. So we found someone who CAN give it that attention. Huge congrats to @nelsonpryan, the new owner of Job Boardly. He’s already started working on improving and breathing new energy into the product. Customers are in great hands. Also big shoutout to @acquiredotcom for helping make the deal happen. And yes, I’ve already acquired my next SaaS. Announcement coming in a few days... šŸ‘€

It’s been exactly one year since @jmcharnes and I officially became business partners I actually first signed up for @job_boardly as a customer a few months prior Initially we started exchanging friendly emails to help each other out Sharing advice, ideas, etc... After a few months of exchanging emails we said… ā€œhey, would you want to hop on a zoom call?ā€ Our first date was set We riffed on business and ideas for hours By the end of that first call we had already decided to partner By August of last year we were officially married as business partners At that time Job Boardly was doing $400/mo Now we both have lambos Okay just kidding, we don't have lambos But really, I now make enough from JB to cover more than my rent, food, and living expenses Which is pretty incredible when you think about it—just one year I’m beyond grateful that we met, and I couldn’t ask for a better business partner and friend Here’s to more milestones, more growth, and more moments where we look back and say, ā€˜remember when…’ Now if only I could find a wife just as easily—that would be great. Too bad indie hacker land is only dudes… 🫶

šŸ“£ I just acquired a new SaaS: @shoutout_io It’s the best way to collect & display beautiful testimonials, in minutes. I loved it so much as a user… I bought it! Now, together with @mityasmusin, we’re the new owners. Here’s how it all went down šŸ‘‡ First of all, props to @ramykhuffash for building it and trusting us to take it from here. I first signed up a couple years ago while searching for a clean testimonial tool for one of my projects. Then about a year ago, Ramy tweeted that he was maybe looking to sell. I DM’d him (along with I’m sure 100 other people). In the end, he decided to keep it for the time being. So I followed up every few months. Just staying on his radar. Then nearly a year later the timing aligned... and he said YES. I called my man Mitya for advice and ultimately we decided to team up together and go for it. Here's what's next... We’re kicking things off with a limited-time lifetime deal: $199 one-time. Shoutout forever. No subscriptions. No gimmicks. You’re locked in for life. Why are we doing this? Because we need more users to shorten the feedback loop and figure out what to build next. More feedback = faster improvements = better product for everyone. This won’t last forever. But while we’re still ramping up, we want to reward early believers. If that’s you, we’d love to have you onboard. Now begins the long mission to take a product we loved and make it even better. Let's goooo!

During the Job Boardly sale process we spoke to about a dozen potential buyers. We couldn’t be happier to have found @nelsonpryan. It’s one thing to sell, but it’s another to sell to someone who really gets it and puts users and community first. So awesome to see.

Here's how to get to $10k/mo, exactly: - Continuously build backlinks. The more backlinks, the stronger your site. You should never really stop doing this. Remember, it's a marathon - Add internal links throughout your site (google likes internal linking) - Automate your blog with something like Seobotai or Outrank - Fix all on-page SEO. This means fixing and optimizing ALL your titles, headers, and meta descriptions. Use Ahrefs or something else to do an SEO audit and fix everything you possibly can - Set up an email capture/lead magnet on your homepage. I use Getsitecontrol, but there are loads of options. You NEED to build a list - Develop an 8-email welcome sequence to nurture new subscribers, introducing them to your brand and offerings. Tell your story to new subs. Telling stories > Talking about features - Run Google Performance Max and Facebook ads. Optimize for lead capture at first and move to purchase conversions once you have enough conversion data - Send a weekly email newsletter. Every. Single. Week. Something, anything - For those who don't open your newsletter, send it again with a different subject line. This DNO (Did Not Open) strategy ensures no one slips through the cracks - Make your H1 a strong CTA to compel action. Make your hero basically a mini landing page (75% of users do not scroll) - Add social proof across your site, particularly in the hero section, to build trust and credibility - Engage directly with your users and build stuff they ask for, duh (within reason) Commit to this for 2 years and I can almost guarantee your SaaS is at $10k/mo, AT LEAST.

Time for my monthly status report on GetOutdoorJobs.com This is a job board that I built with @job_boardly (our own job board software) All green this month baby! Here we go... Aug 1-30 (compared to prev. period) - Gross sales: $436 (28% growth) - MRR: $383 (54% growth) - Traffic: 3,600 uniques - DR: 11 (up from 10) - Newsletter: 3,948 subs - LTV: $64 (26% growth) I bought this domain fresh in April 2023 Started monetizing via candidate paywall 4 months ago in April of this year I LOVE using our software and I feel like it gives me a distinct advantage in the business The newsletter was the strongest driver of sales this month I run it on @beehiiv and sent a whopping 2 newsletters this month All emails acquired organically through the popup on the website Next month I am going to work on building more backlinks to get my DR up Given it is a job search subscription there is a high churn naturally so I am now focusing on gross volume rather than MRR Hot take: MRR isn't really that helpful to think about for this business IMO I mostly just care about what is going to hit my bank account every month compared to my expenses šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø I am also experimenting with a $5/day budget on Google Ads to see if I can acquire emails profitably This is a totally new experiment. I'll report back next month on my cost per conversion Until then feel free to ask me anything in the comments...
