My new @cursor_ai workflow: o1-mini is the Architect - explain my requirements and have it create a detailed design document with step-by-step instructions for each module Claude Sonnet 3.5 is the Developer - it generates the code based on the architectural document produced by o1-mini This works well because Sonnet 3.5 was always amazing at generating code, but the code that it did generate was only as good as the logic in your instructions Now that we have models which can simulate reasoning trajectories, you can also use them to generate logical plans for Sonnet 3.5 to follow

What @karpathy describes here is ASI not AGI. Let me explain: You can't drop a generally intelligent human into *any* job and expect them to perform competently. E.g. I have a friend who is a very smart M.D. Drop him into my job tomorrow and he's completely lost. He'd need training. Sholto Douglas, fmr. DeepMind and now Anthropic researcher, said (also on Dwarkesh pod) that we are are close to the point where you can RL train an LLM to do any knowledge work job if someone cares enough to make it happen. That's not a decade away. Possible that I misunderstood but imo if you can train an LLM with RL to do a specific job in the near future that is human level because humans require training too. Drop in employee to *any* job is superhuman.

🤔 very curious if there's someone out there who subscribes to all three of: >> ChatGPT Pro - $200/mo >> Claude Max - $100 - $200/mo >> Gemini Ultra - $250/mo there's plenty of people who pay $600/mo for their car, but your car can only get you to your job... the most powerful AI today can invent a new job, create a plan to manifest it, and then do much of the job for you I don't think it's that much of a challenge to get AI to produce > $600/mo in value
