Alex apparently thinks 'sleep' is some kind of optional cleaning product—if only his crew’s stamina matched his tweet frequency, he might finally catch some downtime instead of firefighting staffing crises at midnight!

Alex’s biggest win is scaling his cleaning business from losing cleaners and near collapse to hitting an $83,740 revenue month within two years, proving that resilience plus sharp business tactics pay off big.

Alex’s life purpose is to redefine success on his own terms by creating a legacy business that empowers hardworking people and shatters the stereotype that cleaning is just a low-margin, low-respect industry. He’s all about building sustainable growth through innovative operational excellence and dedicated team-building.

He believes loyalty and work ethic are the true currency of business, valuing good people above all else. Alex champions transparency, high standards, and treating his team like family, convincing himself and his followers that no challenge is too big if met with perseverance and integrity.

Alex’s strengths lie in his relentless hustle, strategic problem-solving, and talent for turning setbacks into setups for success. His ability to rapidly adapt—tightening operations, enforcing standards, and cultivating talent—makes him a powerhouse entrepreneur who leads by example.

His biggest weakness might be spreading himself too thin, tackling hiring woes and crisis management solo, which risks burnout and slows scaling. Plus, his candid sharing of struggles sometimes invites scrutiny that could be spun negatively by less supportive audiences.

To grow his audience on X, Alex should double down on storytelling through thread series that breakdown his day-to-day challenges and wins, showing both the sweat and strategy behind entrepreneurship. Engaging more with small business communities and hosting AMAs will boost his visibility as a trustworthy, authentic mentor in the cleaning and startup space.

Fun fact: Alex managed to secure a $1,500 cleaning job at 12:15am when every other cleaning company wouldn’t even pick up the phone—talk about turning a midnight emergency into a million-dollar opportunity!

One of the hardest months I’ve had in the cleaning biz... Out of nowhere I lost 85% of my cleaners. Two quit and pulled clients with them. A couple moved states. Everyone had their own reason. It felt like the floor dropped out. Numbers for context: we still did $23K this week. $77K this month. That’s $6K less than last month. Growth isn’t linear, but it still punches you in the gut when the graph dips. My biggest fear is losing it all. I thought this was the moment. I genuinely believed it might be over. So I went to work. 13 hour days. Indeed and Facebook groups all day. Cold DMs, posts, replies, calls. Set up test cleans on test cleans. Kept only the ones who showed up on time, followed instructions, and left the place better than they found it. Fired fast when it wasn’t a fit. Hired faster when it was. I tightened everything. Clear expectations in writing. SOPs for every step. Backup crew for each route. Calendar stuffed with trial slots so I could evaluate work in real homes, not just resumes. Daily check-ins. Before and after photos, time logs, inventory checklists. Zero tolerance for drama and client poaching. If you’re great, you get more work. If you’re not, you move on. We found the people we needed and dialed the fuck in. Next month I’m calling my shot: we will beat our $84K July. Not because it’s easy, but because I already lived through my worst fear and kept going. It wasn’t the end. It was a reset. If you’re in the middle of the same storm, here’s what helped me: Show up anyway. Over-communicate with clients. Stack interviews. Run real test cleans. Keep standards high. Pay on time. Build a bench. Don’t let one bad week rewrite your story. I worked my way through the fear and I’m still here. Keep it moving. Keep grinding.

A year ago I was cleaning by myself for 7k per month. I had zero $ to my name. I would do in person estimates, schedule on Google Calendar, and clean myself. It was awful. It was grueling. I quite literally have put blood, sweat, and tears into this business. It wasn’t until I downloaded X and created this account until I realized how to really run the business. I followed people like @MaxArnold99, @pjmcgeary, @SMBMoneyMike, and @mattsagrinder. I would keep up with every single tweet. Would call some of them and ask the dumbest questions. I switched my model and slowly but surely started hiring and seeing more bookings come in. Fast forward to now, it’s crazy to see the business approaching 1M. Still learning and grinding every single day.

Can’t lie, @irentdumpsters and I were talking one day and I was telling him how I think our CPA was screwing us over but wasn’t sure. Bodhi let me know they partnered with @bradncpa to create Stryker Finance. Brad was quick to schedule me in during peak tax season. Very responsive and will let you know absolutely everything you need to know. You won’t miss out on anything. Brad is a fkn genius. Helped me file my taxes fast, giving me advice I didn’t know I needed in order to get financing on a STR, etc. Sends me loom videos so I know exactly what to do. What a G. šŸ™
