Adam’s tweet count is so high, it’s like he’s in a long-term relationship with his keyboard—if only his code ran as smoothly as his fingers fly over the keys complaining about it!

Adam’s biggest win is sparking meaningful conversations that challenge the startup hype, becoming a go-to voice for anyone tired of sugar-coated success stories in the SaaS community.

Adam’s life purpose is to demystify the glamorous facade of tech entrepreneurship and software development, helping aspiring builders embrace the grind with realistic expectations and practical know-how. He thrives on making complex, often frustrating work relatable and actionable.

Adam believes in transparency over hype, valuing hard-earned knowledge, authenticity, and direct communication. He trusts that facing the challenges head-on, rather than glossing over them, leads to genuine growth and sustainable success.

His greatest strength is his brutally honest and relatable voice, which builds a community of followers who appreciate his real-talk approach to the tech industry’s complexities and frustrations.

His bluntness can sometimes come off as overly negative or discouraging, potentially alienating those who prefer a more motivational or optimistic perspective.

To grow his audience on X, Adam should balance his critical insights with occasional success stories or tips that uplift and inspire, while continuing to engage his followers through Q&A threads and practical marketing advice tailored to software builders.

Fun fact: Despite tweeting over 10,000 times, Adam’s engagement spikes when he bluntly debunks the ‘easy success’ myths around SaaS creation, showing his audience craves raw honesty more than fluff.

I really like @levelsio but I don’t understand how his business PhotoAI is making $1m+/yr Who is paying for it, what is even the use case?

>discovers indie hacking by seeing @levelsio get rich >starts working on nights and weekends with hopes to replace 9-5 income in a month >still doing that 2 years later >quits job to go full time >5 years later, finally replaces 75% of old salary >happier? maybe… but how much stress did your body go through the last 5 years? Is indie hacking a scam?

Tomorrow is 6 months into my journey quitting my job. Heres 12 unfiltered thoughts that may be helpful if you are hoping to do what I did. 1. This is super hard. Making money for an employer (especially a big company) is fucking easy. Making money for yourself is not. 2. I appreciate what I had more. You may think you are a corporate slave, but you have stability and a rubric of what to do. As an entrepreneur you don’t have that. 3. My new lifestyle is fun. I work really hard and it is exhausting, but I love working on my business during regular 9-5 time. 4. People will look at you differently. They see you as someone who doesn’t have it all there and is going through a phase. This is really hard because you wonder if it’s true. 5. You get way better raises working for yourself. Blawgy.com went from $250 to $1000 MRR in a month. That is a way better % increase than I got at my old day job. 6. Not having a boss is great but dangerous. It’s easy to get full of yourself with no rules. It takes more discipline, 7. Life moves faster and slower. The weeks go by so quickly, because there are endless tasks to do. But when you look at your goals, it feels like it takes forever to get there. 8. Meeting other entrepreneurs ahead of me has been great. I met a founder who is about 100x ahead of me with his saas, and hearing problems he is going through is comforting and makes me feel like I’m on the right track. 9. Things are looking up. Revenue is going up. It’s taking longer than I’d like but I have a real business that I made out of thin air. It’s like 6 months of angst and trying my hardest materialized. That’s nice to see. 10. I could lose it all though. Churn is scary and I lose sleep over it. All my customers could churn tomorrow. Then what? 11. I don’t know if I’ll make this work or not. I’ll die trying but if I have to get a regular job again I will. I’m trying to enjoy and appreciate it while I get to do this. 12. I have learned so much. But there is still so much to learn. Doing things solo is kind of dumb. You’re slowing yourself down. I hired a dev and would hire for more stuff if I had funding or more cash flow.
