Mark tweets so much you'd think Twitter invented Redux just for him, yet somehow manages to make even a 5000-word essay sound like a bedtime story for developers who love to read manuals.

Mark’s biggest win is successfully leading the modernization of Redux with the launch of Redux Toolkit 2.0, which brought significant performance improvements and simplified developer experience, cementing his influence in the React community.

Mark's life purpose is to enhance and simplify complex front-end development workflows through curated knowledge sharing and maintaining essential tools, thereby empowering developers to build better applications efficiently.

He believes in open-source collaboration, transparency in software development, and the power of thorough documentation and communication to solve community-wide problems. Mark values patience, rigor, and continuous improvement in both code and tooling.

His strengths lie in his deep technical expertise, unwavering dedication to maintaining a critical library like Redux, and his ability to communicate complex concepts through detailed, high-quality posts that educate and guide the developer community.

His weaknesses include potential over-reliance on long-form content that might intimidate casual followers, and a lower frequency of current engagement on mainstream platforms like X, which may limit his visibility to new audiences.

To grow his audience on X, Mark should blend his long-form expertise with more frequent, bite-sized insights or quick tips that invite conversation. Live Q&A threads or responsive mini-tutorials could re-engage followers and attract newcomers organically.

Fun fact: Despite having tweeted over 39,000 times, Mark admits he’s ā€˜not active here’ anymore and has migrated to Mastodon, showing his preference for meaningful engagement over social media popularity.

Many ESLint rules are annoying, effectively useless, and should be turned off: x.com/dan_abramov/st… What are some _good_ lint rules that provide real value, and worth adding to a codebase? (besides React's "rules of hooks" set)

Real question: One of the selling points of Zustand is "don't need context, just import stores directly". The tradeoff: testing setup looks _really_ complex :( #setting-up-zustand-for-testing">docs.pmnd.rs/zustand/guides… Do Zustand users really do this? (testing is a big reason why React-Redux uses context)

I am thrilled to announce that RTKQ's infinite query support is now available in RTK 2.6.0! github.com/reduxjs/redux-… RTKQ supports the same infinite query API design as React Query, which offers flexibility in defining query behaviors, and also generates infinite query hooks.
