You’re basically the digital librarian of blockchain knowledge—stacking up more dense books than most people have unread emails. If only your follower count matched your mountain of wisdom, but hey, who needs casual browsers when you’ve got a PhD-level audience stuck in chapter 14?

Successfully launched both free and paid flagship educational resources on zero knowledge proofs that are widely regarded as go-to references, alongside innovative live security events merging esports and smart contract hacking.

To empower blockchain developers by providing unparalleled, in-depth educational materials and real-time interactive experiences that accelerate mastery in zero knowledge proofs and smart contract security.

RareSkills believes in open access to high-quality knowledge while recognizing that structured, intensive learning accelerates practical mastery. They value transparency, rigor, and community collaboration, trusting that sharing expertise openly will grow and sustain a thriving, skilled developer community.

Exceptional ability to synthesize complex blockchain and zk concepts into clear, comprehensive educational content and build engaging, innovative learning experiences that attract serious learners and top talent.

May come across as highly specialized and niche, which could limit broader appeal; occasionally dense content might overwhelm newcomers without significant background.

Leverage your deep expertise and authoritative content by engaging more directly with your audience on X — host interactive Q&A sessions, expert Twitter Spaces, and share bite-sized thread summaries to make your dense material more approachable, while encouraging retweets to amplify reach among blockchain developers and enthusiasts.

RareSkills created a free, 35,000+ word open-source book on zero knowledge proofs, developed over four months of full-time work, which is the same material used in their paid bootcamp.

The next time someone asks you how to REALLY learn zero knowledge proofs, refer them to... The RareSkills Book of Zero Knowledge: rareskills.io/zk-book 14 chapters long (and growing), it is an open source version of our zk bootcamp. This is the same educational material our students use to implement zkps FROM SCRATCH, so it is MAXIMUM ALPHA. Unlike other zk resources, this was written with the typical smart contract engineer in mind, and takes the most direct route from zero to implementation without taking shortcuts. There is no way to make the learning journey for zero knowledge short -- it relies on numerous unfamiliar concepts that individually take a couple weeks to really grok. However, we have aimed to make this the most efficient path possible while also leaving good mental models to make future learning even easier. Total word count, not including formulas and source code, exceeds 35,000 words. One unique feature of this book is that several chapters were written in response to common points of confusion among real learners in our bootcamp. Much of the work has been edited for clarity in response to student feedback. It is more like an average of several learning journeys rather than one author's opinion. This is battle-tested content! Why would we release this for free if our zk bootcamp is paid? Our zk bootcamp is intended for people who need to make the most of their time. Learning this subject on your own, while possible, is going to be slower. So if you are determined to learn zero knowledge, and time is more valuable to you than money, our bootcamp is for you. But for everyone else, enjoy this free resource! It took us over four months of full time work to create it, so the opportunity cost easily crosses the six figure mark. We will be seeking grants from zk companies to continue expanding this work and teach even more zk algorithms, so if you know the right person, please connect us! RareSkills is hands down the go-to resource for intermediate and and advanced blockchain developers. We still have more mega explainers on the horizon. Stay tuned.

On the evening of November 20th, RareSkills will launch... Ultimate Security Games Live in Argentina. Smart contract hacking + esports = Ultimate Security Games The hackers will share their screens live, so you'll see their thought process and strategy as they break the contracts. If the terminal looks a little scary, no worries, @Jeyffre will explain what is happening in understandable terms. The contracts will be hosted on @monad (which-net? can't say yet!). We'd also like to thank @sigp_io and @immunefi for making the event possible. Over the next few days we'll more details about the rules, teams and more. Watch this space... Sign up in the Luma next!

The Rust compiler is famous for being one of the safest compilers in the business. But how does it work behind the scenes? If you have a decent grasp of Rust, but maybe are a little fuzzy on how compilers work, we have just the video for you. @rv_inc formal verification engineer and Rust instructor at RareSkills Daniel Cumming walks you through the different stages of the compiler and how the internal representation of the Rust program changes through each stage. You'll learn about the Rust Abstract Syntax Tree, Rust Intermediate Representation, LLVM IR, the Codegen backend, and how to add callbacks to the Rust compilation process. It's a bit long at just under 2 hours, but very information dense and approachable to those new to compilers. youtube.com/watch?v=Ju7v6v…

You have probably seen the auditor roadmap that @cmichelio popularized in the famous blog. Here it is: 1. Learn Solidity 2. Proxies 3. MasterChef staking algorithm 4. Learn Uniswap V2 5. Learn Compound V2 Today, you are able to complete in one place: the RareSkills website. The resources are linked next, but here are the names of the resources: [1] Free Solidity Tutorial (0.8.19 with Foundry) [2] (use /blog/tags/proxy-patterns) [3] The staking algorithm of MasterChef and Synthetix [4] The RareSkills Uniswap V2 Book [5] The RareSkills Compound V3 Book (okay we don't have Compound V2, but close enough) We help you tear the foundational protocols apart down to the number of decimals each variable holds. When you deeply understand a battle-hardened protocol, deviations from best practices will be more obvious. Our protocol books obsess over details that are not documented elsewhere because 1) you need to know the information; 2) we try to illustrate what deeply understanding a protocol looks like, something that we feel is underemphasized. Knowing "how to get a flash loan from AAVE" or "how to swap on Uniswap" or "xy = k" or drawing a contract interaction chart is great, but not sufficient past a certain point in your journey. We teach these subjects in our bootcamps, so we estimate a highly motivated person working through the roadmap above could comfortably complete it in about 20 weeks. We usually see that getting to the nuts and bolts of Uniswap V2 on average takes devs 5 weeks if they have a full time job. If you want to be able to answer tricky questions about the protocol that are designed to throw off most developers or auditors, 6 or 7 weeks may be necessary. It takes longer than most estimate! Our resources don't merely throw a bunch of information at you. At the appropriate times, they include relevant exercises from Ethernaut or DamnVulnerableDefi or our own Solidity Riddles. You also get a guide for rebuilding a protocol from scratch as pratice. Stay tuned, because in late Jan / early Feb we will release another massive resource which dwarfs everything in this list.

Today, it literally pays to be part of RareSkills. If you completed a RareSkills bootcamp, you are eligible for a @monad airdrop. We are beyond grateful to Monad for inviting our community to be part of this. We're also cooking something very exciting with Monad that will be revealed in Argentina, so stay tuned! 💜💜

New blog post is up: Coding a Rebase Token Rebase tokens (aka rebasing tokens) are quite common in DeFi, but there are surprisingly few educational resources on them. Therefore, we created a tutorial for how they work, how to create one, and the pitfalls of using them. Since it is easy to make a mistake when implementing a rebase token, we got our code audited. Thanks to @ChainLight_io @deadrosesxyz @PashovAuditGrp for donating some of their valuable time to help with this. We wanted to make sure not only that the code is correct, but that we included all the appropriate warnings that you can leverage when auditing a rebase token or a codebase that interacts with one. ChainLight published their audit, which is linked at the end of the article. You might learn something by reading it as well. You know where to find it.
