Imagine flying 15+ hours & 3260 miles away to celebrate a wedding for someone you’ve never met before. Thats just what I just did. This week we landed in Uzbekistan 😂🇺🇿 Our client for the past 5+ months invited us to his wedding. Had an absolute blast celebrating all week; seeing a country I’d never think of heading too as well as people i’d never thought i’d meet! What makes the story even more bittersweet I’ve never personally spoken to him or the other two founders on call before in my life, we communicate strictly through slack 😅 They were one of our first five fig brands + fun fact we closed them in December 2023 on Twitter DMs lol. Since then this is the results we’ve got for them: - Scaled them form $50,000 to $550,000+ in less than 60 days - Successfully got them to 7 Figs before summer - Made over 350+ ads for them - Acquired 2 of their other brands I contribute a lot of the success to building a very personable relationship with them, being real and not acting corporate. This one change will change the way you close deals and continue partnerships. They’ve very quickly become our fav client to work with outside of the revenue aspect, but why? - They understand and trust that us (MTRX) will deliver the best of the best and we know best. - They communicate clearly and we all stay in touch almost daily. - They are fully open to every new and wild idea. An amazing trip and another country to tick off the list. A bittersweet moment and reminder that last year we had zero brands in sight and zero income - it’s crazy how quickly that can change if you just believe in yourself and are as delusional as possible 😂 Biggest takeaway is reach out, follow up + get personal online! The power is in follow ups and building real relationships not quick short term cash.
