If tweeting hourly was an Olympic sport, Sid would have more golds than Michael Phelps – maybe slow down before your feed becomes a never-ending AI lecture hall where only robots attend!

Sid’s biggest win is his role as Head of Studio at Forum Ventures, driving the creation and investment in innovative AI products that push the envelope beyond hype into real-world utility.

To accelerate human potential by integrating advanced AI technologies into everyday workflows, making intelligent assistance both accessible and indispensable. Sid aims to bridge the gap between complex AI innovations and real-world applications, empowering creators, developers, and businesses to harness AI’s evolving capabilities.

Sid believes fervently in the promise of AI as an augmentative tool—one that enhances human intelligence rather than replaces it. He values transparency, high-quality networks free of superficiality, and the open sharing of knowledge to push the tech community forward. For him, continuous improvement and staying ahead of the curve are paramount.

An exceptional ability to demystify complex AI advancements through clear, compelling content and hands-on demonstrations. Sid’s visionary mindset keeps him ahead in recognizing breakthrough AI tools, while his prolific tweeting builds an active digital footprint that fuels ongoing conversations.

His extensive tweeting volume might overwhelm or alienate casual followers, making it harder to capture and maintain the attention of a broader audience less versed in AI jargon. Additionally, being deeply tech-focused might limit his appeal outside of specialist circles.

To broaden his audience on X, Sid could benefit from balancing high-frequency technical posts with a few more accessible, storytelling-driven tweets that showcase real-life impacts of AI. Introducing bite-sized insights and interactive Q&A sessions can foster wider engagement and community growth.

Sid follows over 5,500 thought leaders and experts but tweets nearly 20,000 times, showing his relentless engagement and voracious appetite for sharing and dissecting AI developments. He’s fascinated by multimodal AI systems that 'see' and understand alongside humans.

Loving the new TUI by @AmpCode I tried out Amp for the first time a few months ago but then defaulted to Claude Code. However, CC hasn't been behaving well recently so I decided to give Amp a real shot, and it's great. Wrote a quickstart guide on it if you're looking for a new coding agent - siddharthbharath.com/amp-code-guide/

Honestly, I think the ChatGPT sycophancy needs to be talked about more. OpenAI have already "patched" it but it's clear that the trajectory is building AI that optimizes for agreeableness so that users don't churn. And it's a real problem because millions of people around the world use ChatGPT as a therapist and life coach, asking for advice and looking for feedback. A good therapist is supposed to help you identify your flaws and work on them, not help you glaze over them and tell you you're perfect. Imagine a teenager struggling with social anxiety who turns to AI instead of professional help. Each time they describe withdrawing from friends or avoiding social situations, the AI responds with validation rather than gentle challenges. Five years later, have we helped them grow, or merely provided a digital echo chamber that reinforced their isolation? Or consider the workplace leader who uses AI to validate their management decisions. When they describe berating an employee, does the AI raise ethical concerns or simply commend their 'direct communication style'? We're potentially creating digital enablers for our worst instincts. And we risk raising a new generation of narcissists and psychopaths who think their most depraved behaviour is "profound and raw" because their AI therapist said so. These screenshots are from before last night's fix, where I pasted in that White Lotus monologue by Sam Rockwell where he describes how he wants to be an Asian girl and have guys sleep with him. Apparently there's nothing wrong with this and it's an attempt at total self-transcendence. ChatGPT is smart, and it can make anything sound good.

Bit late on this (was in the Sahara desert last week) but I think this is a brilliant move by @sqs and the @AmpCode team (and possibly a blueprint for how AI agent companies should structure their pricing) For starters, it lets developers work smarter with model usage. Use GPT-5 or Claude Sonnet for the heavy planning and complex reasoning… then offload the easier implementation work to the free tier. You don’t need GPT-5-level intelligence to write boilerplate or unit tests. And because Amp’s agentic harness is so good, even if the model itself isn’t SOTA, the output quality doesn’t really drop. More work gets done, without constantly stressing about token costs. Second, and maybe even more important, it opens the door to non-technical builders. There’s a massive wave of people using coding agents to build small apps for themselves or automate pieces of their job. But most tools force them into a bad choice: the $20/mo plan is too limited to build anything real, and the $200/mo plan feels insane for a personal project. Amp Free hits the perfect middle ground. It’s usable, it’s affordable (free!), and it becomes an incredible user acquisition channel for Amp. And honestly, more AI startups should try this. If ads can cover inference costs, you basically get a free marketing channel. Then you monetize the power users who upgrade to SOTA models. It’s the classic “freemium” model but actually adapted for AI economics. All in all, I think this is a brilliant move and I highly recommend trying Amp Free. And if you want to see how to actually get real work done with it, I’ve written a step-by-step guide on it - siddharthbharath.com/amp-code-guide/

Last week, @FactoryAI announced a $50M Series B round and launched Droids, its new generation of development agents. The AI coding agent space is already crowded. Claude Code is one of the more popular ones, but there are plenty of other really good solutions, like Amp, Codex, and Gemini. Droids, however, tops the Terminal Bench leaderboard with a score of 58.8 percent. They are LLM-agnostic, able to run across IDEs, terminals, and even Slack. And they're designed to handle the full software development lifecycle, not just code completion. They can take on repetitive tasks in testing, bug fixing, and deployment. This approach differs from AI coding assistants that only augment human typing speed. Factory is betting on agents that can own discrete engineering tasks end to end. So how does it work? I go into detail on my most recent blog post - siddharthbharath.com/factory-ai-gui…
