My product progress and X growth also feels slow, and it’s forcing me to revisit the basics: the problem, the value, and why I started. I hate these vulnerable moments, but maybe they’re reminders to reset and realign. Still building. Still figuring it out.

Day 1 of finding new ideas. Because of a family issue, I temporary lost the interest of developing. Hard reflections, doubts, and worry about future coming back to me. Still trying to make some progress, I end up spending time on Reddit/Starter Story/TrustMRR to see how people find their successful ideas. I found myself spend not enough time on market research and validate the idea before jumping to development. But I believe things never too late. Don't know what would happened tomorrow, but I'll make progress, learn something, become better no matter what.

30 days ago, I made the decision to start my build in public life and become a serious solopreneur. This is a quick self reflection for the path so far. The seed of doing solo has always there in my mind since I notice @tdinh_me couple years ago. Yet I had no courage to start. Last year I spent months to fight with the inner self between finding a job and figure out visa to stay in the US vs. take the leap to build and embrace the unknown. My friends don't understand what solopreneur is. My family don't understand why I choose not to find a serious job. Myself don't understand whether it's really worth it. Everyday morning, I woke up and questioned myself whether I made the right decision, but still, I felt no regret. I might going back to my home country because of the visa ends, but it should still be a great adventure year, and I would learn a lot for sure. So, Roy, just keep going, learn, fail, and bounce back.

10 years in, and I’m still chasing the same feeling: "the joy of building". 10 years ago, November 2015, I quit my 9–5 job (well, it's actually 9–9) to start my builder journey. At the time, I just wanted to know what I was capable of. I had learned web development at a big company, then mobile app development from scratch at a startup. I felt ready. I had everything I needed to take the leap. What followed was an 8-year rollercoaster as a startup founder. We spent 20 months building with no income. Then just one night, we went viral. Then everyone wanted to talk to us. But the pressure of growth caught up to me. I burned out, went to therapy, took pills… nothing worked. Eventually, I accepted an exit and went back to a 9–5. After two years of stepping back from everything, I made the decision to start over. To re-learn the coding skills I had left behind for five years. And as soon as I started building again, the joy returned , like it had been patiently waiting for me all along. Today, I’m still excited to see what I’m capable of, just like that younger version of me, ten years ago. I don’t know where this next chapter will lead, but I do know one thing : I’m finally building for joy again.

Read a bunch of tweets on how people successfully start growing X. Here’s what I learned: 1️⃣ Be the reply guy. Try hard to have real engagement with others. 2️⃣ Don’t delegate your original reactions and responses to AI; it would only generalize them and eventually lose your voice. 3️⃣ If there’s only one thing to take away: show up every day and maintain that grit of consistency. It’s literally everything. It came to me later that: hey, these aren’t secrets; the hard part is making a commitment to do it even in those days that couldn’t see the reward.

Today when I wake up, I felt a bit lost. I tried to be consistent everyday, replying to people, write some valuable post. But at the same time, I don't like the repetitive tasks nor the repetitive posting ideas. My account didn't luckily get overnight viral at all (which X algorithm had showed me tons) I like building products... however, I’m not able to (and not a big fan of) ship clone apps through AI in hours, am I against the trend? I doubt there's really something for me in the future? 🤔How do people like you get through these difficult moments?
