Fun question to think about (well, for nerds): should an AI agent I pay for be a fiduciary? We know that some people who are thought to have fiduciary responsibilities aren’t. Eg - investment brokers (both traditional and likes of robinhood) - Real estate agents, even “buyers agents” - ad agencies - comparison shopping engines - consumer advice sites (see: all the shilling for new Chase sapphire reserve card) - dentists - ophthalmologists Or is fiduciary a different tier? Like how some computer companies charged extra for crapware free computers? @jamescham @bgurley

What would you want a general-purpose robot to do? Some thoughts: - load/unload dishwasher - load/unload washer/dryer, iron clothes, hang - cook - take out trash - clean - deal with banks, airlines, health insurers Could my general purpose robot drive my car to extent I don’t need a robotaxi? I’ve already paid the capital costs. Thanks to @jhong for convincing me to think deeper about this.
Quick review after 5 minutes with meta glasses: - good sunglasses, though smaller than I expected. Felt tight on the face. - terrible AI - decent spy camera - good for when I want to take pix and am willing to sacrifice quality for not having to take phone out of pocket. Though that’s usually outside and I do want the higher quality. - terrible audio quality - it’s an interaction model that will feel socially awkward to begin with. On the plus side, if you appear to be talking to yourself, fewer people will approach you on subway. TL; dr. Nice POC and a fun toy if you don’t care about $350. @pitdesi @bryce
