Kim tweets so much, she probably dreams in threads—and if enthusiasm were a sport, she’d have a gold medal, but sometimes she might mistake quantity for quality, turning your timeline into an episode of ‘Marketing Marathon.’

To build and nurture vibrant communities by empowering creators and connecting people with opportunities that elevate their talents and ventures.

Take the job and run with it, you never know what will happen. Today is my 3 year anniversary at @decentraland. 🥳 When I first got my initial job as a Social Media Lead, I had NO idea what I was getting into. While I had 12+ years in traditional marketing... I had never worked in gaming. I was at home with two babies in the middle of a pandemic. I was newer to crypto and we were coming off a bull run so things were a bit wild in the space. But as soon as I joined it was clear. If I worked hard, took initiative and the opportunities I was given, and made things happen, I could make my job become whatever I wanted it to be. I NEVER expected that three years later I would be Head of Marketing and Partnerships at an OG web3 company. Overseeing everything brand, events, community, and growth. Feeling super grateful: To the entire team at the Foundation to being amazing collaborators. To @yemeljardi for continually believing in me and giving me runway to grow and authority to pursue my ideas. And most importantly to the Decentraland community for being my inspiration and my reason to keep working so hard for the future that I know is possible. Here's to the next 3 years! 🥂

Co-sign. I met @gianinaskarlett back in 2021. She was building @CryptoTechWomen and took SO much time to teach and welcome people to web3. She’s continued to show up and use her skills (she’s also a coder, in addition to her content) through the ups and downs of the market. She’s evolved from focusing on onboarding women in tech to producing events across the globe, creating a ton of free content, and has done so while still being kind and generous with her time. I’m 100% for accountability. There is a difference between holding people accountable and straight up harassment/bullying on things completely unrelated to the market.
Do things that don't scale I spend a LOT of time inside @decentraland. Welcoming new users Learning about them (and how they heard about us) Sending them free Wearables so they can start building their digital identity I've learned SOOO much from these conversations. And ALSO these people keep coming back, because now they have a friend in world. Take the time, use your product, and talk to the users. It's the best way to grow.
Back home and finally putting my ETH Denver highlights into words. The best moments were thoughtful, well-executed, and built for real connection. ✨ 1️⃣ Curated events > Open bar happy hours The best conversations happened in spaces designed for specific groups. @Safaryclub & @hypepartners marketing days was the opportunity to "find my people"—quality over quantity every time. 2️⃣ Spoil community > Sell to all The @decentraland community dinner was a reminder that true connection beats mass outreach. Digital friendships turned into IRL hugs ❤️ 3️⃣ Analog booths > Digital booths It’s hard to stand out in the showroom floors. @0xPolygon got it right—simple, nostalgic, and photoworthy. Their "Class of" theme played on the "when did you start in crypto" question we all ask. 4️⃣ "IYKYK" swag > Logo-heavy merch @shefi proved that great swag is something you'd actually want to wear. “In my bag” and “Luckiest girl on the block” were subtle, smart, and culturally relevant. 5️⃣ Themed parties > Raves @BoysClubWorld Prom wasn’t just a theme—it was a whole experience, from the invite to the highway promposal. Full commitment makes the difference. Huge respect to every event marketer who pulled off something intentional at ETH Denver. These moments don’t just happen—they’re made. 👏

That’s quality time in-world. 🫶 And now, we’re reaching beyond Web3. 🌐 62% of logged-in users are using social logins (web2) 💪 88% of ad-converted users using social log ins You don't need to know web3 to enjoy DCL! You can learn it along the way and we are proving that out. Creators are starting to feel it too. The Marketplace Credits campaign brought fresh visibility and sales to their work. Season 1 wraps this weekend—and Season 2 is already in motion behind the scenes 👀 We’re also expanding opportunities for our creators through the Open Calls. It’s never been easier to get involved, be featured, and contribute regularly. And on top of all of that, there is an amazing calendar of events for the second half of the year. 📅 Career Quest: July 16–17 🎨 Art Week: September 24-27 👻 Fright Night: October 31 🎶 Music Festival: November 19-22 🎁 Festive Trail: December 18 - Jan 6 Save the dates.
